"I bought a 2009 BMW X3 and was very disappointed with all the trips to the dealer to fix problem after problem with the car. Drove a VW Tiguan that my friend had purchased and I was sold! The Tiguan is a solid, crisp handling small SUV with great acceleration and features. I bought the 2011 SE model with six speed automatic and the family loves this car!"

"I got the VW Tiguan SEL and i love it. It might be pricey but you get what you pay for. The TSi 2.0 turbo engine is proven and it is the best powerplant that wolfsburg ever made. As far as gas milage people dont buy suv and look how much it burns. if you want a good MPG vechicle buy yourself a prius or whatever its called. I give this car a 5 plus."

"Im a VW fan. I own Porsches, had Jettas. and for a few years had Honda. I was going to go with a Honda CRV then i drove the Tiguan on a fluke. It is awesome. the sunroof. the amount the steering wheel moves out. The power is great. Mileage is decent. Places for credit cards is a cool feature. The interior trim is above any car I have ever been in. Seats fit me just perfect. I love the VW Tiguan. I have a SEL 4 Motion upgraded Nav and stereo. At least take one for a drive. you wont regret it."

"We decided to get a Tiguan 'cause it seemed really attractive. It has a sunroof, GPS, leather seats, keyless starting, and it's a turbo. Loaded! But in the first couple of weeks, it wouldn't start, and a dashboard light told us to get service. Had to be towed back to the dealers, and then they had to wait to get a replacement part for something in the central steerng column. 'Twas a part that they had to get from Germany, 'cause it was early in the model year. And all of the text was in German! Now it seems to be fine, but..."
