The Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail value represents the amount an auto dealer might ask for a specific vehicle; the actual sale price will vary. A vehicle's popularity, condition, warranty, color and local market conditions are factors involved in determining a final price. The retail value is not a trade-in or private party value.
The Suggested Retail value assumes that the vehicle has been fully reconditioned and has a clean title history. The Suggested Retail value also allows for advertising, sales commissions, insurance and other costs of doing business as a dealer. Most vehicles offered at this price have passed an inspection, and some may carry a warranty. Vehicle mileage is assumed to be normal or below normal.

The five-seat Tiguan is Volkswagen's answer to the Honda CR-V and Toyota RAV4 compact SUVs. It's powered by a turbocharged four-cylinder engine and is available with front- or all-wheel drive. A performance-oriented R-Line version of the Tiguan debuts for 2014. (Skip to details on the: Tiguan R-Line) New for 2014 SE trim level adds heated seats, simulated leather upholstery and iPod connectivity while the new SE with Appearance version gets keyless access with push-button start and a backup camera. SEL models gain Fender premium audio system.
Volkswagen's Car-Net communication system is also available for the Tiguan. It includes services like roadside assistance, crash notification and stolen vehicle location assistance as well as boundary and speed alerts, a vehicle health report and an enhanced point-of-interest service for vehicles with navigation.
