"This 1992 volvo 940 is the only car I would buy a million times over. At 230,000 miles I'm still getting up to 30 mpg's highway 22 city. Just took this car on a 4 in a half hour road trip with no worries. All original equipment including waterpump, AC system, powersteering pump and ect. Will be driving this for the rest of my life. Just like my liscence plate says !Volvo4Life!"

"The Volvo 900 is the last rear wheel drive from Volvo. In its home country it is a family car, corporate car, and a vacation car. A common form of vacation is to use a travel trailer, with 3300 lbs being the typical weight. Therefore the car is built as standard to pull a 3300 lbs trailer at 50 mph (although any trailer over 1650 lbs must have brakes). It has the cooling to handle that as standard, something that many SUVs today do not. I am using it as a daily commute, and for towing my 2000 lbs boat. It is no problem to launch the boat, the car has ample bottom torque to pull it up without even revving up. As a general purpose car not much can beat this, why I intend to keep it for many years to come. It is a much better investment than to buy a new car IMHO."

"I PURCHASED MY 1992 940 TURBO VOLVO NEW. I STILL OWN THIS CAR; I HAVE PUT MORE THAN 258000 MILES ON IT AND THE MOTOR HAS NEVER HAD ANY WORK EXCEPT ROUTINE MAINTENANCE ON IT. THE ENGINE IS STILL STRONG AND IT IS EXTREMELY DEPENDABLE. THE CAR STILL HAS MOST OF THE ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT ON IT... ENGINE, TRANSMISSION, CAT CONVERTER, TURBO CHARGER, AND WHATEVER. THE CRUISE CONTROL IS STILL PERFECT...HOLDS THE SPEED IT IS SET AT FOREVER. I NEVER THOUGHT THAT I WOULD KEEP ANY VEHICLE FOR SEVENTEEN YEARS AND STILL LOVE IT. I DON'T WANT ANYTHING ELSE. THIS IS TRULY A GREAT CAR!"

"I bought this one used and got four fairly trouble free years out of it. It's high mileage and I would still hop in and drive it on a trip with no worries. Seats are the most comfortable of any car I have ever owned. Repairs a bit expensive, but itdoesn't need them very often."
