This price range reflects the Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail value for all trim levels, but not necessarily all available options.
The Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail value represents the amount an auto dealer might ask for a specific vehicle; the actual sale price will vary. A vehicle's popularity, condition, warranty, color and local market conditions are factors involved in determining a final price. The retail value is not a trade-in or private party value.
The Suggested Retail value assumes that the vehicle has been fully reconditioned and has a clean title history. The Suggested Retail value also allows for advertising, sales commissions, insurance and other costs of doing business as a dealer. Most vehicles offered at this price have passed an inspection, and some may carry a warranty. Vehicle mileage is assumed to be normal or below normal.
"I love the styling, but that's subjective. Handling is superb, mostly due to 51/49 weight balance. Engine has adequate power for daily commuting duties - it will get you out of the way of speeding tractor-trailers, but don't count on it in a stoplight race. Interior design is good, but cupholders are asininely placed and made of Chevy-level plastic. Otherwise comfortable with all the usual Swedish amenities (seat heaters, front and rear foglights, defrosters everywhere, airbags everywhere, etc). Outstanding gas mileage for a big car - 30mpg highway, usually around 26 mixed. $30 gets me 300 miles on $3/gallon gas. I had some electrical problems and had electronic throttle housing (recalled by Volvo) and ABS sensor replaced. A/C is starting to go @ 86,000 miles. I value my cars based on their driveability and whether or not they start when I turn the key, and this one ranks very highly in that regard. More picky consumers will probably be frustrated."
