Volvo announced that its 2011 C70 retractable hardtop convertible will have a base price of $39,950, not including the destination fee of $850.
This is actually $50 less than the not-exactly-flying-off-lots 2010 model, but Volvo will also offer several standard features that were optional in the ’09 model on top of the new exterior design. These will total roughly $4,000 and give customers a reason to take a second look.
The C70 will have several optional packages available, including a Convenience Package ($1,000), Multimedia Package ($2,600), Dynamic Trim Package ($1,000) and a Climate Package ($1,000).
Volvo has issued no specific date for when the C70 will go on sale, but it should be sometime this winter.
