2010 Last Chance for Most Green Tax Credits

Dec. 31 always signals the end of the year, but in 2010, it also marked the end of tax credits for hybrid and high-efficiency diesel cars.
 
If you haven’t filed your taxes yet out of dread or procrastination, we may have good news: If you bought one of the cars listed below, you have some money coming back to you.
 
And if you’re in the market for a green car and want a tax credit for 2011, all is not lost. There are six models on sale today that will bring in the only tax credit left, for electric vehicles. A Ford Focus electric is also expected to go on sale later this year. All bring a solid tax credit of up to $7,500.
