Honda announced today that it is voluntarily recalling about 554,000 model-year 2002-04 CR-V crossovers and 2003 Pilot SUVs to replace the headlight wiring system.
The faulty wiring could cause the low-beam headlights to fail, increasing the risk of a crash. No injuries or crashes have been reported as a result of the issue, Honda says.
Honda will notify owners starting in late April, and dealers will inspect and replace the affected parts for free. Owners can call Honda at 800-999-1009 or go to www.recalls.honda.com for more info.
