Attractive styling inspired by the gorgeous Takeri concept car, efficient powertrains (including a new diesel option), a fresh interior cabin and a slew of advanced technology features are all found on the new Mazda6. The third generation of the midsize sedan made its North American debut today at the 2012 L.A. Auto Show.
The Mazda6 is completely redesigned for the 2014 model year, and Mazda has dropped the V-6 in favor of more efficient SkyActiv four-cylinder engines that team with either a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission. The new Mazda6 weighs 200 pounds lighter and is a bit smaller than the outgoing model. Check out the gallery below.
