Chrysler is recalling 734 model-year 2013 versions of the Dodge Durango midsize crossover due to incorrect seating capacity labels, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
The affected vehicles were manufactured from April 27 through Sept. 14, 2012, (check your vehicle's build date on a sticker on the driver-side doorjamb) and failed to comply with federal motor vehicle labeling standards because of incorrect passenger capacity labels. A vehicle filled over capacity could lead to an accident.
Chrysler will notify owners starting in February 2013, and dealers will provide the correct labels for free. Owners can call Chrysler at 800-247-9753 or NHTSA's vehicle safety hotline at 888-327-4236 for more info.
