The subcompact SUV class is gaining a new member with the 2015 Chevrolet Trax. Although the wedgy, pint-sized SUV has been on sale in Canada, Mexico and other global markets since 2012, model-year 2015 marks the first time it's going on sale in the U.S.
Similar in size to the diminutive Buick Encore, the Trax is slightly longer than Chevy's Sonic hatchback but shorter than the Sonic and Cruze sedans.
