Vehicles Affected: Approximately 75,000 model-year 2015-18 Audi A8 sedans and model-year 2016-18 A6 sedans, A7 hatchbacks and Q7 SUVs
The Problem: The left and right fuel rails may leak fuel, which in the presence of an ignition source can increase the risk of fire.
The Fix: Dealers will replace the left and right fuel rails for free.
What Owners Should Do: Audi began notifying owners Feb. 28. Owners can call the automaker at 800-253-2834, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s vehicle-safety hotline at 888-327-4236 or visit its website to check their vehicle identification number and learn more.
