Responding to what it says is demand both from dealers and customers, Volkswagen is bringing an all-wheel-drive, all-terrain-styled Golf to the roads as the 2017 Volkswagen Golf SportWagen Alltrack.
Outside, the car looks a lot like a regular Golf that got stretched to become a wagon, hitched itself up a bit and put on its “play outside” clothes. The Alltrack has about an inch more ground clearance, Volkswagen says, and it features wheel arch moldings, flared side sills and redesigned bumpers. The automaker says the interior is more upscale, but shoppers will have to wait until 2016 to get their hands on one.
