Vehicles Affected: Approximately 380 model-year 2018 Chevrolet Equinox SUVs
The Problem: The driver and front-passenger-door window glass may not be properly tempered, which can lead to it breaking into large pieces and increasing the risk of injury.
The Fix: Dealers will replace the glass in the front doors for free.
What Owners Should Do: Chevrolet manufacturer GM will begin notifying owners May 11. Owners can call the automaker at 800-222-1020, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s vehicle-safety hotline at 888-327-4236 or visit NHTSA’s website to check their vehicle identification number and learn more.
