Affected trucks include model-year 2020-22 F-250, 350 and 450 Super Dutys. The 360-degree camera system may not display a rearview image properly in certain lighting conditions, increasing the risk of a crash.
As a fix, dealers will update the image-processing module software for free. Interim letters notifying owners of the safety risk will be mailed today; additional letters will be sent once a final remedy is available, which Ford expects will be March 2026. Those with further questions can contact the automaker at 866-436-7332 (Ford’s number for this recall is 25SA8), the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s vehicle-safety hotline at 888-327-4236, or visit its website to check your vehicle identification number and learn more.
