Obviously, none of these good-looking vehicles are for sale today. Now, when you go to Chrysler’s website spouting the same marketing language, “We Are Building a New Car Company,” the three vehicles shown are the current Jeep Grand Cherokee, the recently redesigned Dodge Ram pickup and the Chrysler 300C sedan. There are no new Chrysler models expected to launch until the 2011 Grand Cherokee, which is slated to go on sale in the first half of 2010.
We’re not sure if the marketing speak is going to matter in the end, with consumers making their voices heard with new-car purchases. And without a lot of newly designed product on lots, it might be a long year until that new car company has anything new to offer.
