Jeep has always been quite liberal with special editions, particularly with its Wrangler SUV. But the brand is celebrating its 85th anniversary in 2026 with an unprecedented series of limited-run Wranglers. On the 12th of the month for the next 12 months, Jeep will debut the next installment in what it’s calling the Twelve 4 Twelve celebration. The series kicks off with the 2026 Wrangler Moab 392 four-door.

First Step
As you probably guessed from its name, the Moab 392 is powered by the same 6.4-liter (392 cubic inches) V-8 engine that powered the 2024 Wrangler Rubicon 392 Final Edition, which was supposed to mark the end of production for the Hemi V-8s long celebrated by Jeep’s parent company, Stellantis. Then the Final Edition dropped Rubicon from its name and continued into the 2025 model year.
The 2026 Jeep Wrangler Moab 392 is much the same as those vehicles. Its 6.4-liter V-8 generates 470 horsepower and 470 pounds-feet of torque, 185 hp more than the Wrangler’s standard V-6 and 175 pounds-feet more than the optional turbocharged four-cylinder. The V-8 is teamed with an eight-speed automatic transmission and full-time four-wheel drive.
The Moab 392 rides on 17-inch beadlock wheels wrapped in 35-inch all-terrain tires and includes standard rock rails to protect the lower body during extreme off-roading. It also sports a body-color hardtop and fender flares, as well as black tow hooks. The Moab 392’s cabin features Nappa leather upholstery, heated front seats, a 12.3-inch touchscreen and a nine-speaker Alpine sound system.

Release Date, Pricing and Provocation
Orders for the 2026 Jeep Wrangler Moab 392 are open now, and pricing starts at $81,990 (including the $1,995 destination charge). That’s a savings of $20,000 compared to the 2025’s Rubicon-based 392. If that’s still too pricey, you’ll only have to wait a month to see what Jeep has planned next. The brand says fans can catch clues as to what’s coming up by watching its social media videos and “following the feathers.”
