In a perfect world, servicing and maintaining your vehicle would be an afterthought — as simple as making a trip to the grocery store. Unfortunately, life’s everyday errands tend to accumulate quickly, and an oil change or tire rotation can easily fall to the back of the to-do list. As most car owners know, it’s often much easier to hit up a local garage for quick maintenance than go to the dealer, but this raises an important question: Will the vehicle’s warranty remain valid even if you never service it at the dealership?
