Vehicles Affected: About 26,000 model-year 2011-12 Audi S4, S5 and Q7 vehicles; model-year 2012 Audi A6 and Volkswagen Touareg Hybrid vehicles; and model-year 2012-13 Audi A7 sedans.

The Problem: In the affected vehicles, the fuel-injection system could experience a leak. In the presence of an ignition source, this leak increases the risk of a fire.

The Fix: Dealers will replace the fuel rails and corresponding seals for free.

What Owners Should Do: Volkswagen will notify owners around March 10. Audi owners can call 800-822-2834 and refer to recall 24AP; Volkswagen owners can call 800-893-5298 and refer to recall 24BK. Owners also can call the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration at 888-327-4236 for more information.
