Used Nissan Leaf Prices Fall Sharply in March
Average asking prices for used Nissan Leaf electric cars fell 4.4 percent to $15,238 in March. That’s $700 less than at the beginning of the month. At the same time, the average price for all late-model used cars edged up slightly to $23,215, a gain of 0.6 percent.

Since the start of the year, Leaf prices are down 9.6 percent. Only the GMC Savana 2500 (down 13.8 percent) and BMW 528i (down 11 percent) have fallen more. Overall used-car prices are up 1.3 percent in the same time frame.
Volkswagen Routan prices shot up to $22,992 on average in March. The Chrysler Town & Country-based minivan’s 7.6 percent ($1,619) price gain led all used cars and was well ahead of the Chevrolet Express 1500 and Lincoln MKZ, which saw price gains of 4.1 and 3.5 percent, respectively.
The charts below detail used cars from the 2012 to 2014 model years with the biggest price drops and increases. To be eligible for the lists, a model had to have at least 250 cars in Cars.com’s national search listings.
