Job Description

 

Full-Stack Recruiter on the Talent Experience Team @ Cars.com

Reporting to the Director of Talent Experience, the Recruiter will be a key driver in the success and growth of the company.

What are your responsibilities?

  • Create innovative sourcing strategies and recruiting campaigns for hard to fill roles 
  •  

  • Have or are passionate about learning how to develop a unique personal brand through strategically targeted in-market events and online channels i.e. LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, etc. 
  •  

  • Strategically utilize LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, social networks, forums, blogs, Github and research methods to source passive candidates.
  •  

  • Partner with Recruiting team and hiring managers to understand the specific needs for each open requisition.
  •  

  • Own and juggle multiple requisitions and maintain high quality/maximum traction for hiring managers at all times.
  •  

  • Assist with coordinating and organizing recruiting efforts while working closely with stakeholders on immigration requirements, updates, processes, and timelines (e.g., Recruiting, hiring managers, etc).
  •  

  • Proactively build talent pipelines for candidates. 
  •  

  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain high standards for all work performed.
  •

Required Skills

 

  • Basic knowledge of US employment and immigration laws.
  •  

  • A “Yes and” approach to collaboration and creative problem solving with the Talent Experience Team, internal customers and candidates
  •  

  • Self-starter with an incredible work ethic and team first mentality
  •  

  • Professional experience with a cutting edge Applicant Tracking System i.e. Greenhouse, JobVite, etc. 
  •  

  • Strong organizational skills, high level of attention to detail, and excellent follow through
  •  

  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
  •  

  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  •  

  • Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working on own initiative with limited supervision.
  •  

  • Resourceful, with the ability to work as a self-starter in a fast-paced, flexible environment.
  •  

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word and Excel
  •  

 

 

 

Required Experience

 

  • 3 – 5 years as a full cycle recruiter.
  •  

  • 1-2 years of experience recruiting Developers with full-stack, Front-end, Mobile and Data backgrounds 
  •  

  • Bachelor's degree or related HR/administrative experience
  •  

Nice to have:

  • Hands on experience in working with immigration and H1B Visas
  •  

  • Experience changing/implementing a new ATS
  •  

  • Experience working with collaboration tools such as Slack and OneDrive
  •
