Job Description

 

Cars.com is looking for a dynamic administrative Assistant who can provide high level, comprehensive support to meet the fast paced demands of our Chief Legal Officer & Chief Financial Officer. This position requires an accomplished admin who has experience with: anticipating the needs of and representing higher level executives across internal departments; utilizing a proactive and organized approach to problem solving and project completion; and a proven track record of his/her ability to work both independently and as part of a high – functioning corporate team.

  The ideal candidate will be able to: 

  • Manage the day to day schedule of the team, ensuring all obligations are met on time and run effectively.
  •  

  • Prepare and file expense reports and manage travel schedules and all details surrounding trip planning.
  •  

  • Handle calendar activities, general meeting room assistance and coordinates internal and external meetings.
  •  

  • Coordinate senior leadership offsites, department offsites and industry events.
  •  

  • Work closely with the other admins to better support the executive team and continually improve communication and event execution.
  •

  •

Required Experience

 

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  •  

  • Motivated to assist others, proactive in improving the quality of work of others, discreet, tactful, positive, professional, able to juggle multiple projects at once…an energetic team player
  •  

  • Customer service orientation with internal and external constituents at every level
  •  

  • Proven ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively
  •  

  • Proven ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management, customers, and employees of the organization
  •  

  • Expertise in MS Office, with a strong emphasis on Outlook Calendar, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  •  

  • High aptitude for learning other office software and technology to make us more efficient and productive
  •  

  • Experience with SharePoint preferred
  •
