We are searching for a Photographer/Photo Editor to join our team! The responsibilities include:

  • Shooting in-studio and on-location
  •  

  • Managing entire scope of photography workflow
  •  

  • Managing own schedule
  •  

  • Working closely with News team on breaking news and special projects
  •  

  • Prioritizing development of fresh, original content
  •  

  • Maintaining digital assets
  •  

  • Juggling many projects concurrently
  •  

  • Roughly 20% travel
  •  

  • Train new hires/interns
  •

Required Skills

 

The ideal candidate should:

  • Possess a strong portfolio of work
  •  

  • Have at least 5 years’ professional experience
  •  

  • Be an expert in Lightroom and Photoshop
  •  

  • Be able to work autonomously
  •  

  • Not be afraid of handling massive amounts of image files and keeping everything organized and easily searchable
  •  

  • Have strong problem-solving skills
  •  

  • Have an exceptional attention to detail
  •  

  • Not be afraid to speak up
  •  

  • Be a technical whiz: Photo gear, Lighting gear, Grip equip’t, Mac/PC, FTP, GoogleApps, Adobe CS, MS Office
  •  

  • Be able to sit for long periods of time
  •  

  • Be able to work outdoors in any type of weather, for long periods of time
  •  

  • Able to carry at least 35lbs
  •

  • Knowing how to drive a manual transmission
