Job Description

 

Cars.com is looking for a detail oriented Analyst to join the Customer Analytics team.  The right candidate will be curious, creative and forward thinking.  This is an exciting opportunity to be a key influencer to our organization and help drive the discovery and delivery of data driven insights to support the growing needs of the business.  The Analyst will play a key role in creating new reporting, analysis and solutions for our OEM and dealer customer base.  The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of different reporting and analytics tools and the ability to tell stories using a variety of data points and methods.  This position involves ongoing collaboration, communication, knowledge and idea sharing within the Data Strategy team as well as other parts of the business.

Required Experience

 

  • College degree
  •  

  • 2-4 years in a position dealing with data, reporting, and analysis
  •  

  • Experience with Web Analytics Tools such as Adobe and Google Analytics a plus
  •  

  • Experience with Business Intelligence Tools such as Business Objects and Tableau a plus
  •  

  • Experience with Marketing Researching Tools such as Kantar, EMarketer, Comscore a plus
  •  

  • Proficient with MS Office Suite, advanced Excel
  •  

  • Familiarity with agile/lean product development process
  •  

  • Automotive, B2B advertising experience
  •  

  • Experience engaging directly with Customers/Clients
