Our Lincoln was coming off lease and unlike other companies, Lincoln forces you to go to a dealer to buy the vehicle at the end of the lease. I made an... appointment with Asheville Ford Lincoln. When I arrived, the person that I had the appointment with was in "Business Development" so I was turned over to a salesman. As soon as he realized that I wasn't buying something new and just wanted to buy the existing vehicle, he turned me over to another salesperson. She was nice but had never done a lease buyout so had to keep getting information from other people. None of the other people could be bothered to come over. Then, I had to deal with the Finance department. I faced the same thing as someone else with the "Customer Service Fee" of almost $600. The dealership never could explain it to my satisfaction. Lincoln also called them for me and they couldn't explain it to Lincoln either. I wound up paying it because they delayed so long that I almost lost the financing and had the lease end. This dealership lost any future business from us as well as selling us any extended service plans or anything else. Not to mention we don't use their service department anymore as it was terrible. They never fixed the problem, didn't provide the promised rental, charged to do a computer update and never called when the car was ready. I'm surprised Lincoln lets them continue to be a dealer.
So to begin, a week prior to my vist i called about trading my truck, that i had bought from them 2 years prior. After a couple of conversations they... told me that it was very possible to do what i wished to do.... so a week later i went into the dealer i picked a new truck we crunched numbers, long story short after several different people walked by and congratulated my wife and i on our purchase we where told the deal would not happen because of credit issues...... which is fine I've been told no before but the embarrassment of being told yes and congratulated not just once but several times to be shot down after two hours of my has been lost is just to much.... later on the way home my wife and i decided to never darken the door of asheville ford again , even though that is the only place my current truck has ever been serviced... we now have my truck serviced in Johnson city... then today a month later i get a call from the sales manager asking if i am still in the market for a new truck..... no not i am not not for anything they have ...... short version Asheville ford now uses sleazy sales tactics and the service department has been found lacking for a long time now they have really went down hill
Six weeks to get an appointment. Then they did not “get to my truck.” Third time I had to take back for sloppy repair the first time. Takes... at least 30 minutes to get someone on phone and then when I express a complaint, they hang up on me. Never buy another vehicle there. Will go to other Ford dealers

Made an appointment two weeks in advance. Left vehicle there four days & they did absolutely nothing! Cost us an extra night in a hotel. No apologies...nothing!

Your team was kind and extremely helpful. They were attentive and even allowed me to return just after closing when I was concerned about a certain sound.... They looked everything over thoroughly. I was extremely impressed by their service.
As usual, competent, courteous, and very friendly buying experience. Been servicing my 2015 f150 there for two years, another reason I went back to Asheville... Ford.
