Everything was fine with my appointment except they

Everything was fine with my appointment except they forgot to hand me my key or tell me where it was. I had to return to find the key. Wasted time.

I had a terrible experience at Hyundai of Lincolnwood

I had a terrible experience at Hyundai of Lincolnwood and would not recommend this dealership for service. I scheduled an appointment to address two recalls (tow hitch and wiper) and an oil change. I explicitly told them in advance that I was not interested in the third recall (a software update) due to time constraints, and they assured me this was fine. Additionally, I mentioned I had a better price for the oil change from Take 5 ($69.95), and they agreed to match it. When I arrived for my appointment, I was met by a service advisor named James, whose attitude and service were unacceptable. He told me they could not perform only the two recalls and insisted they had to do all three. He also reneged on the agreed price match for the oil change. This dealership completely wasted my time. They either lack basic communication skills or knowingly mislead customers. Avoid this place if you value your time and want straightforward, reliable service.

I had my hyundai sonata towed in for new engine on

I had my hyundai sonata towed in for new engine on warranty 0n sept 26 2024 Your service advisor Joshua D Holmes told me he will try to have someone look at it even though he had paperwork stating the problem but he would have to have his mechanic check out . He will try to let me know by mon oct1 or tues oct 2 and call me which he never did.I called him since I needed a loaner while the car would be worked on but he kept telling me you have no cars for customers to use. I kept calling JOSH and asking what is the status on my car,he never gave me an answer if he answered his phone or other people would just say he is not there and they will tell him to call me ,b s he never did . So on oct 4 2024 i called Josh he answered and I told him I am having a tow truck pick up my car and sending it to another hyundai dealer to do this warranty engine work and they will also supply me a loaner to use for my wife and my medical appointments as I stated to you . So now when i pick up my car with the flatbed tow truck they tell me I have a $185.00 charge to pay since they just happened to check my car when I called that I am towing it to another hyundai dealer to do the work I guess you can not do I only wish you would tell your service advisors, tell the people so they can go to another dealer that s fair .Also on my paid leader receipt there is no techs name as the person who checked this out for the charge I paid it says tech374 and tech 025 no longer here . Just so your owner knows I had a lot of warranty work done with the new engine new battery starter and a lot more work and the loaner car was all on warranty so since your new I see to this dealership start a training session with some of your personal so you won't have to change your signs LEADER Hyundai of Lincolnwood to LOSER Hyundai of Lincolnwood....PERIOD HOPE YOU LEARN

This has got to be the worst run dealership in the

This has got to be the worst run dealership in the nation. What a circus filled with clowns. I brought vehicle in on a service campaign and was told I could wait for it. After 4 hrs of waiting for it, was told it would be done tomorrow. Got a ride home and returned the next morning assuming vehicle would be “done” as told by their well trained and knowledgeable service advisor. (Sic). Never assumed done meant it would be started the next day. Big difference time and inconvenience wise right?? Never again. Never again Hyundai of lincolnwood. This place needs to turn out the lights and board up its windows and stop screwing over the public. This place must have some kind of work release program going on for where it gets it’s employees from!!!

BOBBY BROWN is "buying" reviews.

BOBBY BROWN is "buying" reviews. Check the numbers. Things are not being done by the book. Nothing is professional. No dress code enforced. Pants sagging and Jordans makes you not wanna go in there. Workers have stolen parts and drank (plus caused damage to vehicles) and are still being allowed to stay. Will hire ANYONE. Even the ones that shouldn't be touching cars. Do an AUDIT ASAP. Rat Infestation. No regard for worker safety.

light not working only sometimes told them it was not

light not working only sometimes told them it was not the bulb as i had changed bulbs when i went to pick up car they said it was only a bulb talked to bobby brown as he is over service told him it was not the bulb he was not helpful adn said he belived his service man on way home warning light came saying to check break light that they said was ok

We couldn’t agree on a OTD price.

We couldn’t agree on a OTD price. I asked them to get back to me if things change. Also I did have difficulty understanding the sales person, very nice but hard to understand.

Service department totally useless.

Service department totally useless. Had an appointment was greeted asked what service I was there for . I explained I needed an oil change and tire rotation. was told it would be about an hour to 1 1/2 at most. Two hours later car was done got to cashier was told they only had me down for an oil change. Offered to do the tire rotation but it would be another Hour at an additional cost, I declined then they offered to do it for free again for an additional hour + waiting I passed. Paid and left. pulled over a few blocks latter looked at my receipt noticed I was overcharged by $10 went back asked why they didn't know then said it was because the parts were more expensive for my car. I'xx AN OIL CHANGE!!! So where is this additional cost posted for me to know ahead of time, they couldn't tell me. So was told I would receive a $10 Credit on my card. We'll see, if not I'll just do a chargeback. But I will NEVER used this service department again. Oh anr the sticker in the window said I'll need another oil change I 5 months or 5000 miles. Synthetic oil is good for 7500 - 1000 so about a year time. S do yourself a BIG favor and go else were for this was not their 1st screw up with service

They have this new parts manager A.

They have this new parts manager A. The parts department, under his claim, will not take parts back as special order. I told him we talked to some one already on the phone who agreed to take it back, that is why I went in. He decided he has to charge a 30% return fee. For a long time customer, I feel very unhappy with this new manager, and the newly enforced old policies. To which I say we will keep the parts and never buy again. He seems pleased and OK.

I would not recommend purchasing cars and/or services of

I would not recommend purchasing cars and/or services of any kind with this location for various reasons. Despite regular and proper maintenance, low mileage, and rarely driving my car, I have had to replace my fuel injectors, brakes & rotors, and transmission in the past year. I have called multiple times and have been on hold for long periods before calls being dropped. I have left multiple messages with staff and on the website without response. I have asked important, clarifying questions without any feedback. It has been an isolating, aggravating experience. There are currently multiple recalls for my model of car, which I am trying to get addressed and it is of the utmost importance that these issues are resolved quickly, otherwise thousands of dollars of more service will be needed. For these reasons, I am disappointed in the lack of response for service.
