Bait and Switch
Went to the dealership after seeing a car on Cars.com. I called the dealership to verify that the car was there. Melinda said she would check and then text me if it was. I received her text saying it was in stock. When we got there to look at the car 4 hours later it was gone. Then we looked at there website in the dealership which advertised a certified pre-owned Tucson for $20,999. The first price they showed me for the vehicle was over $25k. The rep said it was their dealer fees. My guess is this is legal, but it's also shady and it tells you what kind of people run this place. This place is unethical even by used car dealer standards.

Incredibly rude and unprofessional. Advertised one price then claimed their fees on the vehicle would be over $5,000. Do not attempt to do business with them.

So went to the dealership looking for a car that was marked 23k, the final bill came with almost 5k in mandatory purchases(not the taxes). 5k of inspection fees and mandatory treatment on the car! Avoid at all costs!!

I wish I could leave ZERO stars for the service I received today! I made an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation two weeks ago. My appointment was at 7:00 am, so I was the first customer. After 1h 15 minutes of waiting, a service manager (one with a baseball hat) came to me with a fresh, not rusted, nail in his hand and said that it was sticking out from the edge of my tire. He said they cannot fix it and I need a new tire but they don't have it in stock, so he needed to order one. I said "fine, do it. just make sure it's the same brand and same looking tire." He said no worries and I was told to come back at 1:30 pm so they can swap the tire, and it shouldn't take longer than 20 minutes. I came back at 1:30 pm, sat in a waiting room again and for an hour my car didn't even move! I went to talk to the same manager to ask WTH is going on?!! They finally moved my vehicle to a different spot in the shop! After an additional 40 minutes of waiting they were finally wrapping up my car but all together it was over 2 hours and I told a manager this is wrong and disrespectful! After over 4 hours total at the dealership, guess what? They still managed to put a different-looking tire on my car! This is garbage service! I'm definitely not going back there ever again and not recommending this place to anyone!!! 👎👎👎

Avoid, poor customer service and a waste of time!
For anyone who is looking for a vehicle, I'd advise you to avoid Lincolnwood Hyundai. I emailed them at 9AM and called them at 10AM, but with promises for a call back from the manager. Still no call (5PM). After a couple of calls inquiring a follow up (I'd been told I'd get a call in 5 minutes and then 30 minutes and waited a good 2 hours each time to call back so as to not overwhelm), being moved around to 4 people, I gave up. I understand people are busy, but at the other 3 dealers I've been speaking with today, I hadn't been hung up on, cut off numerous times, and spoken over numerous times as well. One person was pushy and aggressive. The other person was argumentative when I brought up that I understood they were busy, but I have been waiting for 7 hours. They told me to call back two days later to get an answer. Another person just made ridiculous excuses. The other dealerships had been prompt and direct, so this is not typical of my other experiences. Side note: I had a basic oil change done by then several years ago when I couldn't get in with my regular mechanic before a long trip. The check engine light came on after the service (two days), and I've never had issues with the vehicle until that point. I obviously took the vehicle to my regular mechanic for the repair. It could have been a coincidence, but they seems like an aggressive and shady sales and repair dealership. I hope no one else has to waste a weekend. There are a couple of kind dealerships around Skokie and Evanston- so save your time!

The only reason I'm giving them 5 stars is that I can't give them six. Friendly prompt service and were willing to bend over backwards to help. Talk to- Josoe Bautista.
Bait and Switch!! Car we were coming to see was there when we called, and sold before we got there. Called 20 mins before arriving. They post good deals on cars which are not avaialble. My fault for falling for it.

Was quoted a price online several thousand under competitors. Called to follow up and was told that the interior protection plan was not optional and would be added on. This is a lie. It is always optional. Followed up regarding how the price was so low, and discovered the price they quoted me included lots of rebates I don't qualify for. I'm really glad I didn't waste time and money . Are all dealers this rediculous in priceing. I told them how much I wanted to spend and when I got their offer it was over 4 thousand dollars more, come on give me a break. By the way , the suv I looked at was a piece of crap, dirty, scratched up, rusty. I guess this dealer is not ready to sell cars. Totally insulted and a waste. Be ware

I am a senior citizen, quiet and polite. Whenever I come to this dealership I make an appointment for early as I can to avoid the wait. However, people who come in after me without an appointment are taken ahead of me. Last time it took over 4 hours to have a battery replaced. I believe because I am a senior and undemanding I am taken advantage of. Age bias is against the law I believe.
