I would not recommend purchasing cars and/or services of

I would not recommend purchasing cars and/or services of any kind with this location for various reasons. Despite regular and proper maintenance, low mileage, and rarely driving my car, I have had to replace my fuel injectors, brakes & rotors, and transmission in the past year. I have called multiple times and have been on hold for long periods before calls being dropped. I have left multiple messages with staff and on the website without response. I have asked important, clarifying questions without any feedback. It has been an isolating, aggravating experience. There are currently multiple recalls for my model of car, which I am trying to get addressed and it is of the utmost importance that these issues are resolved quickly, otherwise thousands of dollars of more service will be needed. For these reasons, I am disappointed in the lack of response for service.

2 different people at this dealership lied to me about

2 different people at this dealership lied to me about their ability to offer 0% financing on a Tuscon hybrid model. After a month of waiting for the correct model and color to come in, several calls etc and verifying with them that they could offer the financing, I came in at appointed time to buy the car and was told they couldn't offer it on hybrid model. These people are NOT honest.

Not a Friendly Place.

Went in for a simple service recall on a mint, 27,000 mile car. Drove out with l rear shocks making grinding noise and engine indicator light on, which I did not have when I drove in. Staff was Not friendly.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Stay away from this dealership. Do not take care your car there for service and definitely do not buy a car from them. They had my car from July 18th to November 1st. They had a warranty repair to complete as the car was a year old. They service advisors, who are never available to speak to, was terrible and was subsequently fired. I had nothing to do with that, but I suspect it has to do with the fact that he could not fix cars. They had me attempt to pick up my car, only for the issue not to have be resolved at all. All they did was reset the car and hoped the problem would resolve itself. I started the car at the dealership and the lights came back on. Then, they took it in for service, again immediately. After that, they called me to tell me the car needed service. To which I responded, you already have the car. When I went in to pick up the car, there was 'code red' written on the paperwork. I can only assume that they just had the car for all this time and it was magically fixed in 48 from that call. When I picked the car up it had a scratch on it. I looked at the dash cam video and there was a porter who got out of my car and looked at the scratch. They the agreed to fix it for free. To which, it took them over month to fix scratch they put on it. During that time they called me to tell me to come get the car only to call back 30 seconds later to tell me the car was not fixed to their standard. I appreciate that fact, but then I finally got the car back and the paint is still not right. There is a visable mark on the fender, which should have been replaced and there is still a chip in the paint. I live in Chicago and I have had scratches fixed before and this was the worst fix I ever seen. I cannot even fathom letting them try to fix it again. I am in contact with legal representatives to address the issue. That's the car itself, now more on the dealership. They said they would give me a loaner car. They said the lady that handles the loaner cars comes in at 8 a.m. to be there right at 8 a.m to get the loaner car. She was there at 8:25 and was not concerned with getting anyone a loaner car. She went to the vending machine and I had to stop her and ask her to speed up the loaner car process as it was almost 9 and I was sitting there for an hour. She still just wasn't in a hurry to do anything. While I was waiting another woman who took her car in that was less that 30 days old for service because it had warning lights on. They told her they did not have a loaner car. Same lady I was dealing with. She walked over to the sales folks and said I want to return the car, if I can't get a loaner. Suddenly, they were able to magically produce a loaner car for her after she told as told no for over 30 minutes. So when I was finally able to pick up my poorly repaired car I was told, even though the scratch was their fault "I had to come pick up my car immediately and I was past my rental agreement" I have the voicemail if anyone wants to here it. Keep in mind they called me at 3:40 and demanded I pick up my car by close of business. So I wrote a bad review on Carfax. I was called by someone from their corporate office named Chad. I explained the situation. I then requested a call back from him again towards the end of this ordeal. He said "we sell alot of cars" implying that their dealership is fantastic. When it's really their location. If you want to by a cheap Hyundai, cheap car. There are literally only Hyundai dealership on the North side if Chicago. Not that they're great, they're in a good location. He then said 'if I were you I'd get your car back and never come back to the dealership again". When a corporate person outside of the dealership space tells you not to bring your car back to the dealership versus fixing their customer service problems you know they truly don't care.

I purchased my new car in WI and didn't have a local

I purchased my new car in WI and didn't have a local dealer yet to work with. I needed help attaching my front license plate. I pulled up and Dean was proactive and very helpful. He attached it for me so I could drive away quickly rather then wait unnecessarily in the service line.

Hyundai or Lincolnwood is an absolute joke.

Hyundai or Lincolnwood is an absolute joke. Avoid this dealer, I think it is family owned and it is poorly run. Most unprofessional staff I don’t know how they stay in business. They assure you the car you are looking at online is at the dealership only to arrive and find it is not there. Very despicable and deceitful people.

Ask for Greg and you are in good hand

We were there to trade in my car for a new/used one, the out of the door price ended $9k more than the listing price so I didn't get a car from them. Although the sell deal didn't go through, staff there were very friendly and kept us busy chatting and sharing information while we were there (3 hours). The trade in price was good so we ended up selling the car to Hyundai of Lincolnwood and not getting a car from them. The nice thing about them is that their demeanor remained the same when we changed our minds to only sell and not buy, Greg treated us as friendly as the moment we walked in. It only took 2 days for us to receive a call from Greg saying a check was ready for us to pick up, all went smoothly. I'd recommend this dealership to others as long as Greg is there because we've only dealt with Greg so we can't speak for other reps but we know Greg is good and we will go to him when we are ready for a car.

Classic sleazy dealer tactics at this place.

Classic sleazy dealer tactics at this place. Advertised a car at $25,995. When I asked for a total out the door price, they said they only negotiate in person. I said I wasn’t asking to negotiate, I just wanted to know the cost of the car. It took over 6 hours for someone to finally give me an answer. This was after I was asked 5 times when I wanted to come in. I explained I lived 2 hours away and would need to know all of the information prior to making the trip. When I finally said I was going to go elsewhere, I received the information I asked for. It could have taken 5 minutes, but instead took 6 hours! There were two fees added in. One was a paint protector called Xilon and the other was some sort of theft deterrent. Combined, they were over $4000! When I said I didn’t need either one, I was told they were already on the car. Advertise at a low price, then add fees for stuff the customer doesn’t want, just to Jack the price up. I was immediately offered $1,000 off of the two items once I questioned them. No thanks. I’m taking my business elsewhere, sand would suggest that everyone should Run, not walk away from this dealership. This is why car dealers have bad reputations.

I have been a customer since before the change on

I have been a customer since before the change on management, about 3 years, now. I recently went in for regular servicing and was handled by Fredrik Kraft. He was new to their dealership and service department. I do want to emphasize that even though new at this dealership, Fredrik has 25+ years in the auto/service shop space. After our first run-through discussion, it seemed like my bill would be in the $500 range. My car is over 6 years old and I bought it used. However, at the end of the day, my total bill was less than $70. Fredrik was not just personable, knowledgeable, and super-friendly, he managed to bring my cost down significantly. Now, that's customer service. In addition, he did nail the time I'd have to wait ahead of time, which was super helpful. I had brought my laptop and got work done while I waited. I am falling more in love with Hyundai of Lincolnwood each time I go for servicing. Thank, Fredrik, and thank you, Hyundai of Lincolnwood.

Bait and Switch

I called and arranged a test drive for a car I was thinking of purchasing, and made it clear I wanted to test drive it. It was set up, and I cut a family event short to be able to make it out there. When I got there, the "manager" said he wouldn't let me test drive unless I was committing to purchase the car (no way I'm doing that without test driving it), and then, he put a $10K markup, calling it a premium. I walked out, and will never be back. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME!
