    I just purchased a 2015 toyota tundra limited from JBT. I have bought many, many vehicles over the years and have never experienced anything like this. Prior to this purchase I contacted over 3 dozen toyota dealers across the country. The no-haggle price was the best I found and the value they gave me on my trade was very very good. Loir, the sales manager I dealt with, was incredible. We conducted almost all the negotiations via email and she was very quick to respond. Like most of us, I always have my guard up when dealing with car dealers. No need with these guys. They were all very honest, straightforward, and no games were played. When I arrived to pickup the vehicle I was able to inspect it, fill out all appropriate paperwork, get the vehicle tour, and leave in under 50 minutes. I cannot say anything bad about this dealership or the buying experience. If you are within driving distance of this dealership, make the trip.

    If you are in the market for a vehicle you need to visit jim Barkley toyota. I have purchased two toyotas from them and have them serviced there regular. And soon to visit them soon on a new purchase. Aaron is the one I normally contact he is excellent at what he does and a friend when you need help.

    We recently bought a used car. The salesperson was nice enough and the finance woman was efficient and friendly. They were very agreeable to requests we made but then when we went to pick up the car, several of the things we asked for were not completed. For example, they were supposed to install a hitch but did not include the wiring or the ball and they were supposed to make a second key but did not include a remote. We ended up having to request these things again and make an additional trip to the dealership. They were nice and accommodating but seemed to want to get away with the minimum. When entering the used car portion of the dealership there always seemed to be a lot of people working and sitting around but no one greeted me or asked what I needed until I wandered around looking for someone for a while. Also, the man in the front office was always chewing tobacco or dipping and spitting into a water bottle which is just gross. Overall, we got what we wanted but had to work for it and their customer service was not exceptional.

    This was the first time we bought a used car from Jim Barkley, but it was just as smooth as our purchase of a new vehicle several years ago. They were easy to work with, respectful of my time, and friendly. Their used car pricing is 'no-haggle' which is a little more expensive, probably, but it really did make it hassle-free. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

    I have been looking for a vehicle for 3 months, trying countless makes and models to suit my physical limitations without success until I visited this dealer (a second time). Matthew Purcell was very patient and thoughtful during the whole process, even setting my blue tooth up for me after the sale. I would definitely recommend Matthew if you go to this dealer.

    Maybe it was a bad day, but I had a very long day at Jim Barkley Toyota last week. They did say it would take 2 hours when I arrived. I do not live that far away, but I did not want to take another day to get my car serviced. My service light was on and I needed new tires. I also got an oil changed. But this took four hours. Jim Barkley did walk past and asked how we were. One man told him to get more help. But he did not respond. I walked around the dealership several times. I looked at trucks since I am hoping to buy a new one in the spring to tow a little camper. I was sitting in the trucks and trying to figure out how the back seats went done and how the back truck covers opened up. Not one salesman showed up to ask if I had any questions. Yes, I am an old lady,, and apparently invisible. Almost four hours late, finally I was able to settle my bill only to find out that their computers were down. This had been ongoing all day and maybe was the reason why they were so slow in repairing my car. I have been working with computers for a couple of decades, so I understand the issues. But I also got the impression that this was not something unusual, but something ongoing. One of the staff said she wanted to quit. Another complained that they again would have a long day, longer than usual. And one was almost in tears. And the IT guy was out to lunch and could not be reached. Why do companies not have any plan in place when their computers go down. This was not a electrical issue, the lights were on. I expect someday, the grid will go down in certain areas, but to not have a plan in place is wrong. And if this is an ongoing issue then something needs to be done. Their were people from all over the state and many had traveled more than a few miles. The last time I was there I asked about a recall issue and they told me that I would have to make an appointment and come back because they did not have the part in stock. Needless to say, no I did not go back. This has not been fixed and they have not even asked about this or other recalls and if they were repaired. You would think that they would have a record somewhere. I hope I never have to go back, and I will not be buying a Toyota truck. I got new tires and agreed to pay an additional price to have them balanced. They were not balanced. Now my tires have a flapping noise.

The bad weather the night before caused our internet connection to be out which made it difficult to operate under normal conditions.
