A all around! Thanks to Larry Cagle and the other staff at Dick Dyer Volvo for going the extra mile for me! Love my new car!
I recently had my third Volvo serviced. From the first purchase till present, great service and the purchasing process has been effortless. The people... at the dealership are friends not just employees. They really solve your issue. If you want to eliminate the aggregation of purchasing and servicing a vehicle, it's Dick Dyer Mercedes Volvo. Try it, you'll like it!
I bought 2006 Mercedes E350 4 matic.Car was super clean inside and out.I was so surprized and drove back to Michigan.HoweverI found out seats were MB tex... instead of leather. They offered buy back but I didn't want to drive back because the car is in great shape.I took to local MB dealer and in their computer, found service is up to date.Michlin tire had less than 3000 miles. They gave me wood steering wheel I wanted for mistake of their discription. This Car with over 100K miles does not have a single oil leak and look better than one month old Hertz rent a car.
Dyer provided pickup and delivery, which was good. However, the cost of the service (regular maintenance) was outrageous (over $900). Additionally, in... the course of changing one of the filters, the technician got debris (leaves, dirt, pine straw) in the passenger foot well and failed to vacuum it out (In general, the post service cleaning was poor, so I properly cleaned it the next day and found the debris). Really poor experience particularly in light of the cost. Additionally, we had a strap that broke (used to lower the rear middle seat) and Dyer didn’t repair it even though it should have been under warranty. To cap it off, the service advisor was not helpful in discussing why the maintenance was not covered even though we were within the 3 year period (sounded like there was some fine print she was relying on). Additionally the advisor said we would have to find the broken strap to submit it for warranty repair and even then she “would see if they would cover it under warranty.” Likely I won’t be getting our other Volvo or Mercedes serviced by Dyer in the future. It’s a shame that Dyer only pays lip service to valuing its customers. Sharing this as requested at the end of the survey.
Great experience purchasing a new Volvo XC 90. Couldn’t ask for better customer service. Salesman was great about finding what I wanted. Love the car... and Dick Dyer customer service!
This service visit was a wonderful experience. Richard Stevens was extremely knowledgeable and communicated well. The car was not only serviced but returned... cleaner than we left it. We couldn't be happier and we will be back to this service department.
It was great working with Andre Lewis at Dick Dyer. He was responsive and supportive during our new car search. He did everything he could to find me the... car I wanted, at the price I needed. I will continue to be a Volvo/Dick Dyer customer in the future!
FIRST CLASS SERVICE RELIABLE PROFESSIONAL DEPENDABLE ALWAYS HELPFUL DONE CORRECTLY BEST IN TOWN OF COLUMBIA SC, THEY ARE SINCERE AND PLEASANT PEOPLE THAT... ALWAYS DO THERE BEST
I had my 2010 Volvo S80 water pump replaced. My service advisor, Richard Stevens was very accommodating throughout the entire experience. He kept me informed... throughout the day on the repair status and had my vehicle ready on time as promised. He also introduced me to the technician that did the repair and they both answered all my questions. I'm very confident that the repair was done correctly and with pride as if they were working on their own vehicles.
I live in SC and drive to Dyer and Dyer in Atlanta, GA to get an oil change on my Volvo S80. Dick Dyer in Columbia forces you to pay $300 for an oil change.... They call this a multi-point inspection and require it on every oil change appointment. This all came after I've paid $4000 for them to fix a noise that was NEVER been resolved. Dyer and Dyer in Atlanta are very reasonable and trustworthy.
