Found a car online at this dealership. Monday, I called and got us an appointment for a test drive Wednesday, along with completing preapproval financial... paperwork. Tuesday I see the vehicle I have an appointment to see was listed at another dealership. I called Russ Darrow to confirm that they would have the car at their dealership by Wednesday 9 AM for our appointment. They told me yes it is flagged and will be coming over here today, will be ready tomorrow. We arrive at the dealership and they tell us the vehicle is sold. Someone purchased it Tuesday night before it was transferred to Russ Darrow. What?! A phone call from the dealership would have been very nice to notify us the car we were going to see was sold. Long story short, not very happy with how any of that was handled. We ended up buying a similar vehicle with more miles but it was a little cheaper. Dale was a nice salesman. He felt bad the car was sold the previous night. He was not aware of it. As of 9 AM the vehicle was still not marked as sold. He had to call the dealership and they told him that it was sold last night. It was not his fault. Despite doing a lot of things ahead of time, it still took 3 1/2 hours to get out of there. Typical car buying experience. Bait and switch with high pressure sales. Will never go back to any Russ Darrow dealership ever again. Horrible experience.
Saw Chevy HHR on website, called to verify car was there and was affirmed it was there. Drive 45 min. to see car and come to find out it is not there.... They play tricks to get you to show up and then try to sell you something you are not even interested in. Never going to buy a car from them again.
The wife and I were looking for a second vehicle a sedan. I ended up trading in my 2006 Trailblazer. I got a fair price for it and upgraded to a used... 2017 Nissan Maxima that they had on their lot. Our sales person Jason greeted my wife and myself right away on our arrival. He was very friendly and knowledgeable in helping us choose our vehicle that fit our needs. The finance manager ALEX was very helpful and got us right within our budget where we felt comfortable with our future monthly payments. I was very happy with the service and will keep them in mind in the future ! Thanks again for helping us in getting our new used vehicle !!

After searching on Cars.com for vehicles, I inquired about one from Russ Darrow Mazda of Greenfield. Their follow up has been tremendous. Prompt, efficient... and courteous. I will shop here again when looking for a car
Came in for a test drive. Asked for a price of $29,900 (which was $1,097 below list price) and was told that the price listed online was final. Was not... able to come to an agreement on financing either and was laughed at by Dale's manager Troy about getting a low rate at a local credit union. I said I would be in touch once external financing was set. I look the next day online and see they raised the car by $1,000 (up to $31,997). I emailed Troy and an internet sales rep (Ashley) 6 times over the next week and only received 1 response from Ashley. I call Ashley to ask if they are able to take off $400 from their asking price. She said that the asking price was the lowest they can go. I then ask if the price offered when I came in to test drive was still valid ($30,997) as the price online now showed $31,997. She responded by saying that the price never changed (even though it had changed for 9 days). After we were off the phone I re-checked the price and it was back down to $30,997. I then talk with Dale and ask if they can take off $300 off the out-the-door price. He tells me that they are not able to and that the price had now gone up $1,250 during the 5 minutes he was talking with the GM. I know they executed these price increases due to me not completing my financing with them and not having a trade-in which makes for extremely shady business practices. I HIGHLY ADVISE TO GO TO A DIFFERENT DEALERSHIP DUE TO THESE SHADY BUSINESS PRACTICES. BUYER BEWARE. IF YOU DON'T PLAN ON COMPLETING TRADE-IN/FINANCING WITH THEM EXPECT TO PAY AT LEAST $1,000 OVER ONLINE PRICE. MANAGERS/GM HAVE NO MORALS OR CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS. GO ELSEWHERE FOR NEW CAR. PRICE MANIPULATORS. *Dale was a patient sales person and listened to us. He obviously couldn't complete any deals due to management. Ashley was quick to help as well but did lie that they price never changed. Manager Troy and the GM of Russ Darrow Greenfield should be ashamed of themselves for these slimy business practices.
