I cannot discourage you enough from wasting your time,

I cannot discourage you enough from wasting your time, money, and energy with this dealership. I was eyeing a vehicle that was listed over 6 weeks ago and steadily declining in price since being listed. I set up a test drive, and 2 days before it, the price was hiked up over $1,200 to be almost equal to its original list price. Upon reaching out to the number that I scheduled the test drive with and have been texting with regarding details about the vehicle’s history, Carfax, etc, they told me that they spoke with the sales manager two separate times and that it would still be worth my trip to come out because they were willing to take offers and negotiate the price back down. Upon arriving at the dealership, we looked at the vehicle and it was clear that there was damage from an accident, including scraped paint and a massive dent over the wheel well, NONE of which was disclosed in the Carfax or by the dealership in the listing description/photos. The vehicle also had a panoramic sunroof in which the seals were completely falling into the vehicle anytime it was closed and clearly not attached properly. After the test drive, I brought up these concerns to Kelly Murray, my sales associate, who told me that they can’t verify any accidents that aren’t listed in the Carfax and basically, there was nothing they would do for all the damage on the vehicle. As for the seals on the sunroof, she said that the mechanic at the dealership suggested we take it to a Walmart to be repaired after purchasing. What dealership refers you to a Walmart for repairs on a vehicle that hasn’t even been sold yet????? She then spoke to her manager about the difference in pricing that was previously discussed with me via text message, and she told me that those who are dealing with the online sales are not at the dealership and don’t have the most up-to-date information about pricing and sales and chalked it up to a “miscommunication”. At this time, she also brought out an updated pricing sheet that took NO money off for all of the damage on the vehicle that I pointed out and wasn’t disclosed in the listing, and simply removed the warranty that they try to rope you into buying. Stay FAR AWAY from a predatory dealership like Russ Darrow. I will be writing a letter to the Better Business Bureau to try and protect other consumers from predatory practices like this.

Having mandatory add ons is sort of ridiculous.

Having mandatory add ons is sort of ridiculous. Also the wildness to negotiate with accurate comps from the in the area.

Experience was not good, loved the sales person, but the

Experience was not good, loved the sales person, but the price advertised was not the price of the car. Had add one that they said we mandated from Mazda that we found out no other dealership had. The car ended up being thousands more. Was ready to write a check and they clearly didn't want the sale, want us to finance it. Would not drop the extra fees at all, ended up at Hall Mazda with a great experience. By the way, the car we were originally going to purchase at Russ Darrow is still there, with the price dropped almost $3000 from when we were there. They lost a customer and money. Prices are NOT the advertised price! Bad management!

We tried to buy the car for the cars.

We tried to buy the car for the cars.com listed price and they wouldn’t sell to us without financing or adding lots of options

TRYED TO BATE AND SWITCH ME.

I am a woman in my sixties. I was going to purchase a Mazda cx-30. We agreed on a price. I went to my bank to get a cashier's check because it was going to be a cash purchase. When I came back with the check, they tried to bate and switch - saying the car was going to cost an additional $3000. DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM RUSS DARROW MAZDA IN GREENFIELD. THEY WILL TRY AND CHEAT YOU.

Horrible!

Horrible!!!!! My daughter was there to buy her first car with money she'd received from her father passing away recently. After a test drive she wanted to make an offer on the car. After our salesman going back to talk to someone over and over we decided to pay sticker price including tax, title and fees. Well Garth and the man behind the curtain decided they WOULD NOT sell us the car!!!!!! Informed us they had other people looking at it that had either a trade in or were financing. Garth sweetly said it was ours if we wanted to "up" the offer!! I felt so sad for my daughter that she witnessed the gross display of greed at Russ Darrow.

Deceiving advertising!!!!

2010 Mazda Mazda3 i Touring 89,402 mi. $8,083 This car currently listed by the dealership should be taken off by cars.com since is deceiving advertising. I called yesterday and made an appointment for a test drive. I was told that the car was ready. When I arrived Ethan invited me to sit down, checked in the computer and told me that in fact the car was not ready for a test drive contrary to what I had been told over the phone. Ethan then told me that I can still take a look at the car anyway and showed me where it was in the parking lot. I went and found a car in a deplorable state. The right side of the car which is not shown in the pictures is crashed. The right side mirror doesn't exist inside the broken mirror holder, the right quarter panel is crashed and the right tail light is broken. The interior of the car is filthy. It has a strong odor of tobacco, old food on the floor, dirty upholstery etc . To me it was unbelievable that situations like this occur in what it seemed like a respectable Mazda dealership, off the street. It's a shame that customers are subject to this type of behavior. And I hope that cars.com will implement a better vetting system before adds are posted on its platform, so the customer is better informed and the seller knows that not anything goes. Thank you
