I've never owned anything other than Dodge/GM & I thought i'd try something different this time around. I was originally buying a used BMW from another... dealership in New York, but that deal fell through. I was shown another BMW (via auction) which MIch's acquired and I tracked it to their dealership. So one day I skipped out on work and flew out to them. Cris personally picked me up from the Charlotte Douglas airport even offered to buy me lunch, but I didn't have time (flight schedule) and I saw for myself it's a true family business that really knows how to take care of their cars the right way & they treated me better than any dealer has in my life, they were just awesome. We test drove the car got paperwork done it was actually painless&easy. When we were done Cris even drove me back to the airport (it's a long drive from there, he really went out of his way for me). He helped me get the shipping arrangements, even gave me a break on price & made sure they got to me when I was available back at home, my work schedule is very demanding. So what I ended up with is this awesome beautiful car (W/ extended warranty) that I love driving & my friends are very jealous. I would like to thank Cris & his Family for everything they do. If only every used car dealership was like them the world's used car problems would be over.
Second time purchasing a car from Mich's and it definitely won't be the last. Mich's will be the first place I go when the time comes to buy again. You... couldn't ask for better customer service. My wife and i got a terrific deal on a beautiful X5. The team went out of their way to make us feel as comfortable as possible. We didn't feel pressured in any way. This was my first purchase with Mich's but it probably won't be the last. I was not expecting to buy a car but I happened upon an awesome car and couldn't... pass it up. They were very easy to work with and very friendly. All of the issues that I had about the car were addressed.
For price, service and quality of foreign cards, I don't go anywhere else but Mich's Foreign Cars. I have used their services for over 25 years. Initial visit good, test drove car a week later engine light comes on, spent much money still not repaired, went to another repair place spent more $$$... , but I guess when you buy used you have expect this type of thing. Sounds like most people have bought a good car and I am glad, just did not work for me.
We try to do everything we can to keep our customers happy and unfortunately there are certain things we only have so much control over. We offered yo...u an extended warranty, which you declined seven months ago when you purchased. The extended warranty would have covered any expenses you would have had and just serves as a piece of mind knowing you're covered in case anything does happen. Just like you can't guarantee that you won't get sick over any extended period of time, no one can guarantee that you won't ever have problems with your car, regardless of what kind of car you drive. We would have been happy to do some more diagnostics if you would have been able to leave your car with us. It's hard to diagnose a car when we aren't able to drive the car and see what its doing, and then test drive it after repairs to make sure it solved the problem (neither of which we were able to do.) The only work we performed on the car were two 02 sensors; the Autologic scanner gave hard fault codes for them, which I believe you had verified at other service shops. We would be happy to assist you any way that we can and as a courtesy we would offer any parts you need at cost as well as give you a discounted labor rate. We appreciate the business, we always dropped everything we were working on to assist you, and we are determined to do whatever we can to keep our customers happy.
I have lived near them for 15 years and have always admired their cars, but I never thought they took trad-in's, let alone a car that was only a-year-old.... So I stopped in one day to ask if he took Trade in's, and after hearing the answer we started looking at cars on the lot. The next thing I knew I traded in my 2013 Camry for an E 350. We had originally planned on purchasing a C class but Mitch's was able to give us much more car for the same price that many dealers were asking for a lesser vehicle. So without even thinking twice we purchased a car from him and at no point did I ever feel pressured. They were very helpful with financingas well.
