Very excited about the experience and the car that I was able to receive.
If you do business at Rod Hatfield you better be on your toes. Our sales manager Martin was fine, although very new. After meeting Eric, the finance... manager, he shared with us (in casual conversation) that he made $17,000 last year from bank kick backs. We were definitely on our toes after hearing this. On 4 separate occasions in the financing process either the basic math was wrong (To the dealerships advantage, of course) or we were handed a fee/rate/ etc without a discussion or an option which we had to question or correct. The most egregious thing we were told was being given a high interest rate (although we have excellent credit) along with a $1000 insurance policy for a 75 month loan that no one requested. When asked to lower the loan length for a more favorable interest rate we were told that it wouldn’t matter...WHAT? Since when would that not matter? Magically, when the terms were changed the loan rate came down 1/2 point. Needless to say it was pretty obvious why Eric gets such a generous pay day from various banks. This is not the totality of our issues with Rod Hatfield (not even close) but it is the one that makes me know I will NEVER return.
I purchased a used car and Marco was fantastic. He answered all my questions and was very helpful. He is a great young man.
Thank you for your positive feedback. We appreciate your business and look forward to the opportunity to work with you in the future!
7/08/19 - A/C NOT BLOWING COLD AIR. SERVICE WRITER GIVES A DIAGNOSIS OF A LEAK IN CONDENSER BASED ON A DYE TEST WHICH REQUIRES REPLACEMENT AND INCLUDES... VAC AND FREON. THE TOTAL COST OF REPAIR WAS VERBALLY GIVIN AT $ 1293.73. HE SAID THAT THE HIGH COST OF PART WAS THE REASON THE AMOUNT WAS SO HIGH. IT TOOK ABOUT 3.5 HOURS WITH A LABOR CHARGE OF $ 945.00. I WASN'T HAPPY WITH LABOR CHARGE BUT PAID THE BILL. THE NEXT DAY- NO A/C !! TOOK IT BACK- THEY SAID IT WAS THE HOSE AND THEY WOULD FIX THAT AT NO CHARGE. I ASKED ABOUT THE COST OF THAT REPAIR VS THE CONDENSER REPLACEMENT. THEY SAID THE COST WOULD HAVE BEEN ABOUT $ 550.00 FOR THE HOSE REPLACEMENT. I INDICATED THAT I WANTED A REFUND OF THE DIFFERENCE AS CLEARLY , THE HOSE WAS THE ISSUE FROM THE START. THEY SAID NO !! THEY THEN SAID THAT THERE WAS A HOLE IN BOTH THE HOSE AND CONDENSER. I TOLD THEM THAT I THOUGHT THAT WAS RIDICULOUS AND ASKED FOR MY OLD PARTS BACK. THEY SAID THEY WERE GONE AND COULD NOT GET THEM BACK. I'M A BUSINESS MAN AND I WOULD NEVER TREAT MY CUSTOMERS THIS WAY !!! P.S. THE HOURS SPENT ON HOSE AND CONDENSER WERE THE SAME BUT NOTICE THE COST DIFFERENCE OF REPAIR !!
Customer service is everything in a world of independable over-priced products. Thanks again GM and it?s dealerships for a true let down and loss of customer.
I was lied to about a key fob and I wasn't told about 2 recalls. Josh was SO RUDE to me. He told me that he didn't owe me a thing after I have bought 2... new vehicles from them and 2 used ones over the years. They lied to me about previous owner of the truck I was buying. They lied to me about getting me another key fob. They failed to tell me there are 2 recalls on this truck. One involving the DRIVE SHAFT. Seriously???? I traded in a MINT CONDITION truck and they sold me a $32,000 truck with RECALLS!!!!!!
Terrible experience. Bought a used car less than a month ago and it has an electric problem. Took it into the service department for repair, they said... they could've find the problem and charged us almost $200 for no repair.
Misrepresented car on website and over the phone. Then when later dealing with their finance department an employee named Matt was very rude, acted like... he was in charge and even hung up on me in a phone conversation. If you're looking for good customer service go somewhere else!
I worked with Logan to purchase a 2019 Chevy Colorado ZR2 over the phone from 3hrs away - couldn't be happier with the help he provided .. If I was just... rating my experience with Logan, then it would be 5-star. Reason for the 2-star is because the brand new vehicle I paid almost $43,000 for after taxes has a chip/scratch in the center of the front lip of the hood that is going to require repairing/painting. We pointed it out to Logan thinking it would be raised to the Sales Manager, who would offer some sort of reduction to cover what we will have to pay to fix it (again, we live 3-hours from this dealership, so having them fix it isn't an option) - but nothing was said to us. I brought it up again to the lady that did the paperwork when she was trying to sell us some package that would cover repairing door dings, dents, etc, and once again nothing was said about fixing it. It looks like touchup paint on a spot beside this one, so I feel like they knew about it beforehand. I would have brought it up with the Sales Manager myself, but he/she never bothered to greet us, ask us about our experience or thank us for the purchase. VERY DISAPPOINTED!
I bought this vehicle in the end of April and so far it has had issues since the day we took it home. The issues were so bad that it had to have the engine... replaced and they let us drive it away and did not tell us it was that bad. Just to come back when the warranty was funded and they would repair it. Would not have drove it at all if we had known it was that bad, but we were never told. Today it is broken down again and waiting to be towed in. Would not recommend my worst enemy to go there!
