Drove 1.

Drove 1.5 hours to get our truck,bc we broke down 1.5 hrs from home, had to leave it there. ,only to find he had confirmed verbally with us to make the drive,at 340 pm it was ready at 5pm, he had left for the day, truck not fixed! No excuse for this. Suddenly it wouldn't come out of limp mode, they had to contact GM to "find out what was wrong" 3K LATER FOR A DEF HEATER AND 2 SENSORS....BAD COMMUNICATION, OVERPRICED, TERRIBLE TURN AROUND, AVOID AVOID AVOID

Dealer response

We are truly sorry for the unacceptable experience you had with our service department. It’s completely understandable that you’d be upset after driving 1.5 hours to pick up your truck—especially after a breakdown—only to arrive and find it wasn’t ready. We’re taking immediate steps to address these issues internally and would appreciate the chance to discuss this with you directly to make amends. Please don’t hesitate to call 859-299-2772 at your convenience.

Consumer response

I dont know what discussing can remedy at this point. I had to drive to Cincinnati and back the day your tech called us and said good to go. Even if he had to leave I feel whoever was in charge should have stayed late and ran the regen. Knowing we were so far from home we got nothing more than "no, sorry". 800$ for 2 sensors that weren't originally found, and 1,100 for labor? These sensors are not indepth fixes. We lost so much businesses this week and we were unable to address all of our obligations due to Rod Hatfield having to reach out to GM to solve a very common issue with these trucks. There was a 200.00 discount applied leaving us with a 3k dollar bill. So unless you can remedy any of these things, moving forward we will Always check reviews before trusting that a dealership is as good as the one we use simply because it's Chevrolet. Also, I would like our email survey that GM sends out because we haven't recieved it. If I have to call and inquire, I sure hope it wasn't "forgotten " You guys stressed us out to the max!

This dealership uses shady practices.

This dealership uses shady practices. I received a hand-written letter from a Ricky Green offering to purchase my vehicle above market value. I called and spoke with "Ricky". He told me he would have his guy "Shaun" talk withe when I showed up. Once all the numbers were in front of me, I told them the offer for my vehicle was lower than the value my own research showed. I mentioned that "Ricky" told me they would offer above market value only to be told by "Shaun" that "Ricky" isn't a real person. To me, this seems like a tactic to prevent negative feedback for individuals at the dealership. A made up person to dump blame on should there be any complaints. The guy I spoke with, "Shaun", also was swearing up a storm like I was his buddy. Totally unprofessional behavior. I mentioned that my car would need to be detailed if they purchased it from me and he stated, "We have some Mexicans in the back that will take care of it." Absolutely trash behavior from an unprofessional "bro" in his 50s.

I live in Florida and was visiting family in Kentucky.

I live in Florida and was visiting family in Kentucky. A neighbor backed into my car and broke my rear light and damaged my car. I neddeto drive back to Florida the next day. I contacted Rod Hatfield Chevrolet and spoke to Brian and explained what happened. He told me to bring my car right in. He had to order my light and it would be in later that day. He told me to come back at 8:00 the next morning to repair my light. I was there at 7:45 am. He took my car right in and had my car fixed in 15 minutes. I was on my way home by 8:00 am. Brian was excellent in helping me. I highly recommend them. Great customer service.

I had the pleasure of working with Jeff Wells and Kevin

I had the pleasure of working with Jeff Wells and Kevin Parnell at Rod Hatfield Chevrolet. I traded in a Jeep Gladiator for a Ford Raptor. It was a bit complicated (as I live in VA) but they made it an easy, straightforward transaction. Jeff and Kevin were very professional and always available to answer any questions/concerns. They gave me a fair trade-in value and the truck arrived in the exact condition that was represented. A+ overall experience, highly recommend

My neighbor bought a car from this dealership and

My neighbor bought a car from this dealership and delivered it to her. Before delivery I asked the salesman to inspect the vehicle inside and out. He said it was like new. This sale was on a 2024 Chevrolet Equinox. When we pointed out all the above handle door dings ( 5 ) He said he would talk to his boss. After days of none response we were finally told sorry you bought a used car.

My service person Jose was excellent about keeping me

My service person Jose was excellent about keeping me updated about my car. Jose is caring. He's a great addition to your establishment. The car itself is a different story.

Took 9 weeks to replace a shifter cable and charged

Took 9 weeks to replace a shifter cable and charged $1250. We had to constantly call to get info and updates. Dealership was less than forthcoming. Neither manager, Rylan or Shane did what they said to reach out to us. When I picked up the car they didn’t even bother to put the center console back together. This dealership has the worst service department I have dealt with in Lexington. They could care less about customer service or the work they do.

Took 9 weeks to repair a shifter cable in our car - one

Took 9 weeks to repair a shifter cable in our car - one excuse after another for delays - no mechanics available, part arrived damaged, part delayed, etc. $1250 charge with no accommodation for having our car for 9 weeks sitting outside and waiting. Once the part came it was done the next day so now I wonder if it is even right ! Picked it up and they didn’t even bother to reassemble the center console! Shotty work and no customer service at all
