Service department not so good!

Very disappointed in the service center. We purchased a new car in 2015 and it started having issues last week. Took it in for diagnostics and service and they came back with bad transmission at $5500.00. We took it to another location and the fixed it for $379.00 dollars and purchased the failed parts from Rod Hatfield parts department. Went back asked for a partial refund for the misdiagnoses and they said they couldn't do that. I would recommend getting a 2nd opinion before having them fix your auto. I have purchased several autos in the past few years from them but probably wont any longer. We just purchased several new autos last month that they could have been part of.

I purchased new rotors and brake pads.

I purchased new rotors and brake pads. I was never given any "options" just given a price tag. I was told my brakes had less than 30% life to them. Plus they were beginning to squeal. So I went and paid for them to be ordered. After waiting months, they were finally replaced. Within weeks, I noticed the squeal sound was still present. I ignored it thinking they needed time to "work in". At an oil change (and approximately 12 months from initial install)--I commented to the technician that my brakes still made noise when applying the brake. I was told maybe I got a bad set but they were still under warranty and I could order replacements. So--we did. Replacements came in and I was excited to finally be noise free. I was highly mistaken. Not only do my brakes still make noises when I stop...they are 100x worse and death defining squeal. It's EMBARRASSING how loud they are. They also had a hard grinding to them. I let weeks pass and went back in to the dealership. Where I was told it was all normal because I purchased "cheap" products. That there was nothing they could do. First of all, I was never given options on which products to purchase. Just given a price. Secondly, every time they have suggested something, I followed through and ultimately have made my problem significantly worse. Anyone that hears my car now asks me have I had my brakes checked recently....then I have to tell them they're technically "new". The service manager on duty advised that I wear my brakes down as much as possible and them come back in and buy the nicer ones. I've never dealt with something so ridiculous. I don't have money to just go buy different brakes because these sound like someone is screaming out on their death bed. PLUS---there are many cars on the road, I'm sure with the "cheaper brand" and no one sounds like my car when it's coming to a stop. My suggestion is that if you need service on your vehicle, you go absolutely anywhere else. I also went in--under warranty--- with my stabilitrak error code coming on and they said "we don't know". I now just deal with the error code coming on every single day. I'm curious if it's related to my poor brake job. Stay away.

The easiest car deal ever and I’ve bought more cars than

The easiest car deal ever and I’ve bought more cars than I can count! 😂 Working with the awesome people here was such a blessing. If your looking for a no pressure, quick and easy process stop by and see for yourself. If you do, be sure to work with Collin my sales rep, Austin the sales manager and Canon in finance. These guy were amazing to work with from the minute I stepped on the lot. Not one time did I feel pressure. I immediately felt like they were going to do all they could to help me get a truck with a payment that I needed. These guys knocked it out of the park immediately on the first set of numbers they gave me, being completely honest and transparent. No hours spent….When I had just spent 6 hours and two days at another dealer trying to make a deal it was a breathe of fresh air. Regardless if they have exactly what your looking for or not, stop in and give them the opportunity to find it if they don’t have it. I’m sure glad I did.

Customer review

The mechanics was not very good servicing my car. I had to bring my car in three times for same issue and still not fixed. Not to mention all the diagnostics fees they charged for all three times. The management is horrible and do not believe in taking care of their customers. Customer service over there is horrible and needs to be better. Spoke with my advisor Brian and the service Manager Chris about the ongoing issue with my car. They both know that they could have handle the issue better but gave poor customer service all times. I would not recommend anyone to them ever!!! I also asked to speak with the head boss over there name Jeff, and was told that they're not allowed to give his contact info out but would have him call me. That has not happened yet. My car is still not running right and I have wasted over 2600.00 to their shop alone. Very upset at how I was treated by their team.

As bad as their radio advertisements

They historically have the most annoying advertisements in radio history. Like they are literally the worst, sometimes when I lie at bed at night I hear Ron Hatfield rapping an Aldi's brand "AppleBottom Jeans" from my school bus years as a youth, and it keeps me awake, horrified that in some way this advertisement was effective. We're looking for a car eventually ended up unknowingly at the Ron Hatfield Chevrolet, and as they tried everything in the book to get me to buy into an obviously bad deal - I reflected on those advertisements and my thoughts that surely the place must be as bad as the generic remade songs themselves. I was right. The only bad thing is, now I must carry the baggage of country rapping Ron Hatfield with me for what is likely to be the rest of my life.

Worst service department I have ever dealt with

Had the oil changed in my 2021 Suburban, within 10 days add oil message shows up. Went to valvoline and they had to add 5 quarts of oil. They informed that the oil filter was not on correctly. I repeatedly called service department until I got a call back from service manager. He informed me that what I was saying was word of mouth which does not even make sense. He said they could not take valvolines word for it and they would do nothing for me. Worst service experience I have ever had at any dealership in my life. No accountability for their screw up.
