Arrogant ignorant salesman. Has no idea what cars are on the lot. Borderline rude. I am surprised these people are still in business. I advise all dealers to lower their sale prices and drive these guys out of town.

I go to A Better Way Wholesale dealership and try several used cars. I was in market for 2006 Chevy trailblazer that was advertised in Bargain-News.com. I could not find the particular car that was advertised. No big deal. They had several Trailblazers. First car I drove had major issues including check engine light. I declined that vehicle. Second trailblazer was better but air conditioner did not work. It was hotter than you know what that day. The third Trailblazer was a good car but tire pressure light was on. I thought no big deal. They do a 100 point inspection before I buy. I put down $1000.00 on car to hold for me. The salesman tells me the down payment is nonrefundable. THIS IS ILLEGAL!!! I wait to find out what the details would be for my loan. I wait for 2 hours with no answer. I leave and tell salesman to call me with all the info. Friday, Saturday, Sunday goes by with still no answer. Finally Monday salesman calls me and tells me Trailblazer is all set to pick up. I call a friend to bring me there. We wait an hour and a half before we talk to finance guy. Of course I threaten that I am leaving again. They never gave me any details to loan until I was about to sign for car. (This is Bogus!) After I sign for car they bring it up to the top lot. They did a horrible job getting it ready for me. It was just as filthy as when I test drove it. It had no gas in it and the tire pressure light was still on. In fact they took the floor mats out of the car and the spare tire. 100 point inspection my arse. When I got home the tires had 18LBS of air pressure. No wonder the light was on. I would not recommend or ever go back there. It is a total joke…

Drove 2 hours to look at an Audi S4, spoke to them multiple times on the phone. When I arrived they didnt even know where the car was. They sent me to 3 different parking lots to look myself. When I finally found the car it had a broken clutch, and was undriveable. They were rude, and unprofessional. NEVER GO HERE!

NEVER do business with this place. all of their employees give conflicting information, and won't care if you commute from across the country to pick up large checks to find out they have to come back another day. 1st time buyers or people with tight budgets, you're better off dealing with actual dealerships that yes still want your money, but will make sure your car is properly taken care of before its on the lot, and will give you reliable information and policies that all employees know. You may pay more, but its WELL worth it. Also, all of their cars under $10,000, have no warranties! Real dealer is much better and thats what I plan on doing for the rest of my life! Horrible customer service, crappy cars bought off of auctions, $600 dealer convenience fee, cars not fixed until purchased. all of these things are UNACCEPTABLE

I met Sean Lewis who was 3 days on the job. Upon arrival I witnessed a departing customer screaming at one of the managers that was so upset he had the cops called to the dealership. (HUGE sign something may not be good here) Sean, very unprofessional, and probably just got this car dealership sales job after being fired from McDonalds, proceeded to take me and my father to the lot in a shuttle van. Once we got to this dirt parking lot (land of misfit cars) he walked with us for about 10 feet to find the van i was looking for from the ad. He had zero knowledge and maybe if I said "I will take a #5 supersized" he would have a better idea of what to do. I had to bite my tongue as I needed a ride back to the dealership in the shuttle but what a joke.... I live in new york city, and haven't had a car for years but quickly remember why i always bought cars through private sales and the internet. If you are smart, take your time, go private sale (most sellers are usually honest) and take out the slimy middle man. Sean Lewis - You are a joke of a cars sales man, doubt you have internet or a computer to ever find this. But will be sure to mention your name once more "Sean Lewish" Naugatuck, maybe that will help google you looser. I'm hungry, chicken nuggets, fries and a coke.....hey where is my free smile? :)

Buyers be warned!

All of the bad things other comments indicate are likely true -- this is a horrible place for even a sophisticated buyer to shop for a used car. Some of the cars appear to be OK, but many are really bad and some probably should not be sold except for junk. The place is something of a "wild west" atmosphere with multiple lots, a lot of cosmetic cover-ups and in general a good place to find a bad car and get taken. Best advice: Stay away.

I bought the use the car with an "as is"...

I bought the use the car with an "as is" warranty which was a mistake on my part. Just after a few days after the purchase, the battery died. The mechanic said the battery was shot as indicated by his battery tester, no life left in the battery. Which took all of 5 minutes to check. I thought it hard to believe that a used car dealer would sell a car with no battery life. I learned a $115 lesson. I also learned that while I was waxing the car, there was a missing lug nut on one of the rims. At least that was only $3.50 from Toyota. My latest event is the maintenance light is now turning on, so I added more power steering fluid because it was low. But he maintenance light is still on, so off to the shop I go again but for a full checkup. Which I assumed "A Better Way" would have done before selling a vehicle.I would expect buying a car in this condition from a person off the street but not from a car dealer even with the "as is" warranty. For the next used car I purchase, I will be sure to have my mechanic look at it before the purchase. Regardless of my mistake or ignorant assumptions, my next used car purchase will be "A Better Way" but it won't be in Naugatuck.
