After 1 hour, I walked out without test driving the car I walked in for and without a price on the vehicle I would have purchased that day (in all fairness,... I told the dealer I would not purchase today due to not being able to test drive the vehicle). I walked in wanting to test a 2018 Accord Hybrid. One rep, introduced himself and 5 minutes later brought another rep to help me out due to a conflicting appointment (not a problem). I told the rep that I wanted to test drive the 2018 Accord Hybrid Base model to see if it is the vehicle I want to purchase. After 20 minutes, it turns out that the vehicle was in the shop and I could not test drive it. They had the 2017 but that is not the same car I asked for. Then we sat down and I explained my situation. I have a car, I want to trade in and want to purchase the 2018 Accord Hybrid given that I don't have any issues after test driving the vehicle. I told the rep, that I needed the price on the vehicle. He went and spoke to his manager. When he came back, he asked me am I interested in buying the car today? I told him that I am not because I have not even had a chance to test drive the vehicle. He said, I understand and that is why they cannot give me a price on the vehicle today. This is almost 1 hour spent in the dealership. It was very disappointing especially since I chose Honda Carland due to it's very high rating on Google. Like anything else, this is my experience and per the reviews, I am sure they are not this horrible to everyone. I am still planning on purchasing the 2018 Accord Hybrid, however, I will not be doing so from this dealer.
I had a really great experience at Honda Carland. My Salesman Ryan Walcott was so professional as well as personable. I was conflicted between two models... and he very patiently kept showing me and test driving the two until I decided. NOT ONCE did he show a tiny sign of frustration, he repeatedly said he just wanted to make sure that I got the right vehicle. Once I decided, the rest of the process was quite smooth and quick. Lauren (my Finance Manager) made that process clear and effortless. I was very pleased with the options that were presented (without any pressure) to protect my new Odyssey. I am very pleased with the entire outcome. I am so happy with my purchase and everyone at Honda Carland made the experience great!
On New Year’s Eve I learned my 6 year old Buick Enclave needed several expensive repairs. I knew the driver window was stuck in the down position, but... was surprised at the other items – power steering, timing assembly, et al. It was way too much money to put into a car that old. Four months earlier I bought a new Honda Odyssey for my wife from Michael Willis at Honda Carland, and that was a very good experience. Michael is professional, thorough, and a pleasure to work with. So I called him. In a couple of hours I had looked at a few possibilities and just wanted a day or two rethink everything before deciding. The problem was – it was late afternoon on New Year’s Eve, and several days of rain coming in. Michael offered to let me drive one of the Odyssey’s home so I would not have to chance a rainy return with a window down. Very thoughtful! Two days later (January 2) I had decided and was ready to do the deal. When I met Michael at mid-day I could see he was not feeling good, but he persevered until everything was complete, and I drove home the Odyssey. Michael is a rea pro, and I will be calling him the next time I need help, or a friend asks me for a referral.

I’ve purchased a number of cars, and this was the worst car buying experience I’ve ever had. The salesman seemed too busy to deal with me...granted,... it was a holiday and the dealership was quite busy. But I felt very rushed even though we were there for 6.5 hours. They never even offered us a water...small detail but...ahem...customer service. Once we came to an agreement on price and met to speak about fincancials, I felt taken advantage of because it was a holiday and no banks were open. Compared to every bank website, I was quoted an outrageous rate even though my credit is excellent. Yes, I’m at fault for not nailing down the fanancial aspect before, but I originally just went in for a test drive not expecting to buy....oh, and this is the first time I’ve ever been allowed to drive off a lot with a new purchase with less than 1/8 of a tank of gas. Never again.
We buy and sell one of our cars about every 3 years. So, 3 years ago we stopped by this dealership to look at a high end Honda Accord and told the sales... man what we were looking for. He failed to bring us the model and had excuses why.. we left. On Sunday, 03/25/2018 we stopped by to test drive and look at a Honda Pilot EXL, we needed something bigger than the Volvo S60. Jamal our sales person took us for a test drive after he had to drive it off the lot and a couple miles away where we exchanged drivers.. Never heard that one before, but next..we came back they appraised our Volvo and after a couple rounds of going back in forth with the sales Mgr and showing him the deal my daughter just had in Brandon, Florida , we finally came to a deal for all. It is now almost 3 hours into our day. Finally and after multiple excuses the finance person, Lauren, who was supposedly new to Honda, but had told us she was from the Chevy World in the "Finance Department" called us in and had a male finance person helping her originally. He left, she went over all paperwork and told us at least 3 times , to be sure to read all... as there is no buyers remorse in Georgia and once a contract is signed that's it...Its a done deal ! So we signed all and left the dealership.. we were suppose to have a full tank of gas, NOPE, had to come back and have them fill it up. We were supposed to have all things in the vehicle explained to us, NOPE and after signing 3 papers at sales desk prior, nothing was ever explained about vehicles operations , features, etc. Okay we can read a book and I can ask our daughter .. so next. On Wednesday, I get a call that Lauren the finance person made a mistake and put .09 % in the contract paperwork and it should have been 0.9 %. Yes we saw it and that was her problem not ours .. did she read what she wrote? After consulting with our counsel, we told them we would not be returning to sign a new contract. I could not locate any GM, CEO or any staff on the Carland Web Page. So I found a CEO on "LinkedIn" and emailed him. I was contacted by a GM who identified himself to me as Ken Kaplan. I told Mr Kaplan I will not be signing a new contract. I explained they have a clear and explicit wording in their contract and I quote, "No cooling off period. State Law does not provide for a cooling off period or any cancellation period for this sale. After you sign this contract you may only cancel it if the seller agrees or for legal cause. YOU cannot cancel this contract simply because you change your mind". Mr Kaplan told me via phone if I would not sign a NEW CONTRACT, he would NOT TITLE the Honda Pilot. I never agreed to terminate our sales contract. I told Mr. Kaplan to return my Volvo, all monies paid, etc etc. to my home. It is now Friday, my Volvo and all have been returned . However isn't it amazing that they have you sign a contract... but will not enforce it upon themselves in this case .. all over a $ 12.00 a month difference that should have been taken out of the finance persons commission , or better yet, to keep a customer, the dealer should have eaten it or offered something to keep a customer happy. Never Again.. and YES BUYER BEWARE!
Fred our sales associate was very nice, helpful and knowledgeable. He made the purchase go smoothly. We are very pleased and love our new CRV.
We have 3 cars, Honda Odyssey 2014, honda CRV 2012 and Honda Odyssey 2002, two of this vehicles purchase with Honda Carland, heat was damage and when we... went to the dealership the charge $130 for let you know what's wrong with the car, with out give the price of the repair.
Worked with Tarik and Jessica to buy my CRV for my wife. Tarik explained all the features on the vehicle and Jessica got me a decent extended bumper 2... bumper warranty. Ask for those two! They're the best!!
