I'm very disappointed in my experience at Honda Carland
I'm very disappointed in my experience at Honda Carland and do not recommend this dealership to anyone. My wife and I were ready to purchase a used Honda Odyssey and very motivated to do it quickly with finances prepared and in place to do so. We had one picked out that we fell in love with (low mileage, certified, right price) and did everything in our power to make the deal happen all to have someone else sweep right in and get it before we did. Our salesperson who was overall quite kind, did not communicate greatly and jumped the gun several times on telling us when to come to the dealership. After we rescheduled THREE times because the van wasn't ready, we showed up last Saturday at 3:30 (after being told 3) to learn that the van was STILL not ready to test drive. We decided to move on and give the benefit of the doubt. We set up time to test drive on Monday at Noon. I get there EARLY just to make sure I was there first to test drive and purchase the van, and was told to "wait on my salesperson to arrive". So, what did I do? I sat around for 45 minutes waiting on my salesperson. During that time, I realized the van was out front due to someone that had just test-drove it, and I overheard the sale going down. I then spoke with a salesperson who confirmed my investigation/assumptions. The salesteam KNEW I was there waiting on a vehicle that was currently being purchased from someone else and then they wanted to wait till my salesperson showed up to tell me? Huge waste of time for me AND my wife who was travelling in from an hour away to see it as well. I then asked to speak to the manager (I wish I had grabbed his name) who acted like they wanted to do ANYTHING but listen/help me. He cut me off several times, looked at his watch repeatedly, and pretty much dismissed my concerns entirely. To be fair, he eventually apologized, but that was only after I didn't back down. PLEASE go elsewhere for your purchase. These people made it clear that they DO NOT care about serving their customer. They care about 1 thing and 1 thing only - closing a deal. It doesn't matter if you had previous arrangements made, it doesn't matter if you were first in line, it doesn't matter! I'd imagine they give decent service if you are indeed the one purchasing, but if someone comes in underneath you to purchase your vehicle, good luck receiving any service whatsoever. We were even considering purchasing the van without the test drive on Saturday just to make sure we held it, all to be told to hold off because they wanted us to test drive the finished product! We were literally just following the directions that they gave us! Terrible experience, they DO NOT deserve your business.

Since 1985, I have purchased 3 cars from Honda Carland and when it's time will buy there again. Have always had them serviced there as well because of their excellent customer service.

Beware of finance office.
Shady finance office. Not responsive I have had to call over 50 times to get anything done which they assured they would do. I had a much better experience at Honda nalley. They did what they said they would and that was it.

Do not purchase here
Purchased a car online and no respond from the dealer. Had to call 2 days later to see why they haven’t called me since my thank you for your purchase said someone will be in contact with me for the next step. Ran my credit witch took a hit for them to tell me they sold the car and they don’t do buy online??? And tell me that the car I bought was being sold for $10,000 over msrp? Wouldn’t even consider purchasing from here.

I really tried to like their overall service and customer care but at the end of the day they are a business who does not have customers best interest at heart. Honda Carland refused to pay for a repair I had to get on my vehicle at another repair shop that they were clearly at fault for causing. I tried working with the general manager (Mr Pierce) to find a fair resolution over a course of several months but the resolution was I'm out a few hundred dollars in repairs and to deal with it. I felt I was not being valued or heard as a loyal customer who loves their car and treats it well. I would not trust them with your car or trust doing business with them in general.

I contacted this dealership in search of a Honda Accord Sport 1.5 which is in high demand. A salesman who was a fast-talker and young (less than 40 years of age) assisted me. I cannot remember his name, but my experience of Honda Carland will forever be remembered. After I inquired about the car, he told me that it was available for the $28,945 that was listed on cars.com. I inquired about tax, tag, and dealer fees which are typically about a 1k. He said “if that’s what you think you are going to get in 2021 you are crazy. I just sold a Honda Accord Sport 1.5 for 35k yesterday and won’t be selling one today for less”. He got rude on the phone and told me that will never happen because we are up selling our cars by $2500 plus the traditional fees. I just wanted to know the difference in the traditional dealer fees and what he was telling me that Carland was offering. I have never been talked to so rudely by a car salesman. I was just asking a question never once did I say that I wanted him to change his price for me. I have brought many cars, but he told me that is how they sell them in the city. So, I will stay in the country and buy from a dealership that values effective communication, respect, and customer service. Unfortunately, for him to talk to me like he did, he has done this before because he was too comfortable speaking that way.

Stephanie helped me with purchasing my new 2022 CRV Hybrid. She was extremely knowledgeable, thorough and answered every question. She worked very hard to get me the best price. Honda Cartland is very lucky to have Stephanie in their dealership. Ask for her. You won’t be disappointed.
UNHAPPY BUYER
VERY UPSETTING. DISHONEST PEOPLE DID NOT PROVIDE NECESSARY PAPERWORK FOR OBTAINING TITLE AND REGISTRATION FOR PURCHASED CAR. FURTHERMORE, THEY REFUSE TO TAKE OR RETURN PHONE CALLS SO IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO RESOLVE THE SITUATION.
