It is true that people tend to leave a review when they have a bad experience and not say word when they have a good one. I had a good experience with... Volvo of Ocala and would like to set the record straight about them. They are not perfect, just like no dealership is perfect, but they do care about the customer's experience and they do offer some great deals. Rob, the sales manager, went out of his way to try to make sure that my experience was a good one. I would buy from them again and recommend them to anyone wanting to purchase a new or used vehicle.
Went in to check out a Volvo they had on their website. Got there, the car we wanted was there, so Jeff L.(salesman) went with me as I test drove the car.... He was very nice, informative and didn't pressure me to buy, buy, buy. But I loved the car and he made the process of buying it super easy. Extremely happy with Jeff and would recommend him and Subaru of Ocala to anyone looking for a good car and a better sales experience.

Drove up from port st Lucie because Greg, the internet sales person helped me, and I had an excellent experience with him! We worked the deal by phone,... they worked with my budget. No surprises when I got there. Found the car to be even more Beautiful in person than on the internet. Greg is an old school stand up person, def trustworthy in my book. The staff was also pleasant, even the finance guy was friendly. Super simple experience which was the most important thing to me. Give em a try guys you'll be pleasantly surprised!
Like a throw back to the way dealers did business in 1975 with added undercoating and other added "features" to jack up the price Ocala Volvo does the... same thing. Red the disclaimer in their used car ads: It reads: "All units subject to additional installed equipment including but not limited to Protection Pkg $484 and Perma-Plate $784.*"
I bought a Subaru Forester in 2015 and everybody was so nice to me at the dealership. Everything was going all right until we had to start signing paperwork.... When I sign the paperwork the guy told me that I had to have this insurance $795.00, until we paid the car off. We would be refunded the whole amount. When I was signing the paperwork it was all like bundle together so I couldn't see the top portion so he went and told me what each sheet was as I was signing it. He never told me it was gap insurance. We went back to the dealership yesterday and they said oh I'm sorry but this is a new ownership of this dealership and we didn't do that to you. They didn't even try to help us at all. Just said oh well this is a new ownership and we didn't do it. They could have done a lot more than that. They could have gave us names and numbers of who we needed to talk to. I will never ever buy a Subaru again because you guys stole money from me. It might not have been the new owners of the Subaru dealership in Ocala Florida but you didn't even have any concern that we got ripped off. That shows me that you're just a snake just like the other people were. I hope you guys go under
THIS DEALERSHIP PUTS ON A FRONT LIKE THEY CARE ABOUT THE CUSTOMER. BUT THEY DO NOT GIVE TWO xxxxS ABOUT THEM!!! EVERYTHING WENT GREAT WITH THE PURCHASE... AND FINANCING . DROVE THE JEEP LESS THAN 40 MILE AND CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME OUT BECAUSE THEY TRIED TO COVER THE ISSUE UP. DO NOT GO! - gave us a story about an accident, then carfax told differently -autotrader gave one price- website have another- and then after we got... there they jacked up the price above both.
Jeff worked with us over the phone and through text. We hammered him with a barrage of text questions and he answered them all promptly. We bought a leftover... 2018 Impreza. The deal blew away everything we found vs the dealerships in Tampa. We asked him to complete as much as possible because we didn't want to spent a lot of time there. He promised us one hour and he delivered. We arrived at 10:10 am and we were out by 11. It was worth the hour and a half drive each way. Everyone came to greet us and thank us for the deal.
Bought a 2013 Volvo XC90 and agent did not disclose a reported accident. I tried to sell it back to a Volvo place in Green Bay and that's how I found out... why I couldn't get a good price. Wrote Volvo oval certified and now it's over a month and still no response. Called 3 times since Monday and just been promised they'd call back but never did I asked to be connected to the GM but no luck. Time to find a lawyer to make them answer my complaint.
