Plattner Automotive group was awful. The owner/manager ruined my whole experience. After waiting for my payoff for weeks (Ocala told me they sent it over... the day after I purchased my Volvo), I had to continue calling Plattner to see why it wasn’t paid off. The receptionist sent me to the manager on one call, who actually told me the check was sitting on David’s desk, he was unsure why the car wasn’t paid off yet. He then proceeded to laugh and say he would try to tackle him when he comes in to get the check sent. No one would return my calls or get me on the phone with anyone that would help, until I called corporate Volvo to have them write in and find out what was going on. Super unacceptable customer service and it leaves a bad taste toward this dealership, since they send their payoff documents to Plattner Automotive Group. I wouldn’t want anyone else go go through the hassle I went through between the two dealerships.
We were interested in a used Toyota Tacoma that Ocala Subaru Volvo advertised on line. The price of the truck was what was advertised EXCEPT for the "accessories"... of $3,900 Dave added that he could not explain. Oh, and he calculated sales tax on the transfer/tag fee.

I drove an hour sight unseen to this dealership and could not have been more impressed with the sales department and financing division buying for a new... Volvo. I filled out the online credit app., sent a few things by email and my car was ready by the time I got there with a lower price than I even thought was possible. So much more professional than "car salesmen", they actually made buying a car a great experience. Every other dealership I felt like I was being taken advantage of, and was in a trap. This dealership was the opposite: they gave me a better deal than I even thought was possible and answered every question on my level, and had a sense of humor. A rare thing to find in dealerships!
Friendly, folksy dealership! There was no high pressure and this made Ocala Subaru unique among any dealers that I bought from in the past. Our salesperson,... Leanne Snyder, was a pleasure to deal with.
Needed to turn in my leased 2013 Subaru Legacy and was initially thinking of switching brands. Test drove a 2016 Legacy and ended up staying with Subaru.... Leanne was great! She showed my wife and me the ins and outs of all the things we didn't have with our 2013. I can't rate the quality of repairs yet because I haven't had it in for service yet but if it's anything like the service I had in PA and DE it will be excellent also.
a pleasant experience was had, and what was most appreciated was the fact that we were not pressured, our questions were answered promptly.
Among the best experiences I've ever had at a car dealership. They really know how to take care of their customers and do not put the "ya gotta buy" pressure... on. I've been buying cars for almost 50 years and this place is top shelf. John McLean, the salesman, was very accommodating and worked hard to please us in the sale.
