Worst dealership experience I have ever had.
The worst experience at a car dealership I have ever had (and I have had several). Starting with the sales staff, who knew very little about the company's policies and warranty, and had to leave to ask someone else with nearly every question I asked. The sales lady also knew next to nothing about the vehicle I regrettably ended up purchasing. The guy I worked with in finance was a complete jerk, and made it seem like I was wasting his time as he rushed through paperwork making multiple mistakes along the way causing rework and hand written amendments. It took the dealership a week to deliver the car after purchase which is entirely too long. Once the car was finally delivered, it had $3,000 worth of work that needed to be done to it. Spradley Barr claimed that the 2 estimates I received were wrong and only found one item that needed attention and then made me split the cost of repairs. The worst part about this was that it took 3 weeks to fix what should have taken 2 hours, and I felt like I was either being lied to the whole time, or their service department lacks competence. After leaving service, the car's issues remained and I question whether or not they actually made any repairs. I have never been so unsatisfied after making a significant purchase.
Steve Hunt lined up this procedure for us and handled from beginning to end. Everything was done in a timely fashion. We were treated with courtesy and respect. Overall a pleasant experience.
Dick and Cindy, It's great to hear that Steve was able to get you exactly what you needed. Our goal is to make sure everyone who walks through the door leaves happy. Thanks again for choosing our dealership! Mike Ervin, GM (970) 506-3600, email@example.com
AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP
AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP. They are simply untrustworthy and unkind, and I hope my experience will show you the staffs' unfortunate behavior and priorities. After leasing a car for a few years, I wanted to buy it out. I had called a few dealerships to determine who had the lowest dealer fee. After speaking to the salesman David 4 days ago and the manager John twice yesterday, they had both reassured me that there are no other fees for buyout on top of the dealer fee so I would be paying $500 total. Once there, I started the process with the same David, who claimed we had never spoken before. After a roundabout conversation, he eventually stated that in fact Ford charges a $500 fee for buyouts AND the dealer fee is $800 for a total of $1300. Conveniently, I had spoken to Ford directly prior to this visit and learned that Ford most certainly does NOT charge a fee for buyouts. Clearly attempted deception. Following this, a second salesman named Matt stepped in. I thought he would provide some clarity and help alleviate the situation. Unfortunately, Matt's priority was to attempt to undermine me by stating that his phone records only show one call from my phone number to the dealer. After directly showing him my cell phone's call records and him seeing the repeated calls to the dealer, Matt again attempts to shift blame to me by asking, "Where did you get that number? It's not ours.." So to put this debate to rest, I simply call the number on my phone and place it on speaker, and all of us together hear Katie, the receptionist of this dealer, answer the phone. Obviously I had spoken to this dealer a few times and was reassured of what I would be paying. But on arrival, David dismisses responsibility by claiming we've never spoken and tries to push a "Ford fee" on me, and then Matt attempts to undermine me by saying I've only spoken to the dealership once which simply was not the case. As a woman coming into a dealership to buy a car, I expect salesmen to try to play me a bit, but this was outright devious and disrespectful, and a complete waste of my time. Please save your money and time and go elsewhere where you will be treated with respect.
When I first went to buy a van I offered $2000 a civic as down payment. They only offered me $1000 for the Civic so I declined and offered to just put $3000 down and keep my civic. They agreed I signed everything and went home thinking I owned the van. The bank apparently turned down that offer wanting the car more than the cash. The dealer called me to tell me I have two options put another $5000 down or pretend I traded in the car, let him make a fake bill of sale saying I then re-bought the same car to fool the bank into thinking we did a trade in. I am not going to commit fraud to fix their error. Another issue is I drove to Florida to drop the van off to be converted onto a camper van. I was going to fly home and leave it in Florida for a few months while the work was completed. I had no intention of driving it anytime soon. As a disabled combat veteran I am on a fixed income and cannot just drive and extra trip across country to fix the mistakes of a company with millions of dollars. Now they want me to pay out of pocket to drive it back and return it to correct the mistake they made and then tried to cover with fraud. Disgusting dealership.

Great Ford Dealer in Greeley,CO.
I recently purchased a new 2020 Mustang Ecoboost from Spradley/Barr and I have never had such a stress free experience buying a car! From Leo (my salesman) to Aaron (Sales Manager) everybody was excellent at their job and I felt they gave me an excellent deal with a great trade in value on my used Nissan Truck. I had to get my Mustang from another dealer because I wanted a white one and they arranged a trade and it went off without a hitch and my new Mustang arrived in perfect condition. I can't say enough about this Greeley based dealer. You will be well satisfied if you buy your car here. I know next time I need a Ford I will go to Spradley Barr.
Dennis, thank you for your kind words and congratulations on your new vehicle! If you have any additional needs or questions, we will be more than happy to assist you! Safe travels!
Poor service, hollow promises
I did business here for several years with continually declining success. It got to the point where I stopped doing business but got several calls promising that the problems had been taken care of (they never were). I asked them to not contact me any more and after I told them I would consider future contact as harassment they stopped for a while. This Monday I got a recorded message on my work phone from Alex saying he has good deals for me. They just don’t get it!
This place gets it done! Top notch service from the sales guy, along with the manager. If you get a chance, go and ask for Alex! I drove from Arvada to work with these guys and would do it again. Carlos the floor sales manager will do what’s right as well and treats you the way you deserve and expect to be treated
So easy to work with!
So happy with my explorer! I’ve had it a few months and went in for my first oil change, the service was awesome! It took a reasonable amount of time and they updated me on progress.
The people in the receiving-maintenance dept. were very helpful and fast. All my questions were answered promptly and if they had no answer, they took the moment to usher you through and ensured someone knew the answer correctly.
Best service ever. Prompt. Progressional. Quality.
John, we are happy we could make your experience a positive one! If you have any additional needs or questions, we will be more than happy to assist you! Safe travels!
