Our old cars weren't going to make it so we decided that we would register my project car and try to lease our first new or almost new car. We went to Kia and had a very decent experience with our salesman. He did what ever it took to get us into our first used car. Our credit is not that great so we ended up getting the lease through Sensible Auto Lending which is a bank inside of the dealership. I had filled out the primary credit application and my fiancé filled out the same paperwork as the co-applicant. We were turned down by numerous banks and the one that finally accepted us was far to high of a payment. We declined and decided we'd talk about it. The next day we got a call and an offer from Sensible. The payments were within out range, so we decided to go forward with the process we had began. The only thing that changed was instead of a new Kia Soul, we were getting a 2011 with 40,000+ miles. We were okay with this. We went back that night to Kia to talk things over and put the down payment plus trade in our car. My fiance was already there with my project car, and I had driven my accord in, ready to trade it in. When I walked in, a salesman joked with me asking if our project car was for sale. I smiled and politely said no. He told me to ask my fiancé, at which point I told him the car was primarily mine to sell, again, no. He insisted I talk to my fiancé as if he were the one in charge. I put a more serious look on my face and said, "Well you'd be talking to me, because as I said, the car is mine." He didn't seem so friendly after that. I had school that night so they lent me a car to take to school. My fiance finished out the paperwork and I was to come in the next day to pick up the car and sign my share of the paperwork. When I went back in I worked with a guy who was, and I quote, "in a bad mood." He had me sign various sheets of paper, to which I realized were in the co-applicant space, but I let it slide thinking my fiancé just signed the wrong spot. Grumpy tells me to expect a "package of information" in the mail. (It's been 3 months and with 3 phone calls asking about said package I have not received a straight answer or package) After month one I hadn't received info or a payment book, or really anything. Not even so much as a bill. So, I called the bank to make sure I'm going to make my payment on time and am faced with a lady telling me if I don't pay on time they will "repo" my car, and that it's my responsibility to pay on time. I was stunned. I was not trying to get out of making a payment. I was not trying to "pull something".This was more than a little off putting being that I was calling to see how to make my payment. Rather than giving me options to do so, or even looking up my account, the lady tells she tells me these things making me feel like a common criminal. I tell her I'm coming in the next day to avoid any late fees or repossessions. When I come in I tell the sales clerk I'm there to make a car payment, he sends me to the garage. I go back an state more clearly that I need to make a car payment to the bank up stairs. He gets someone, she takes my card and the payment is taken care of. Two days later another payment is taken out. I signed up for auto pay when I got the car. Had they looked up my account when I called to make sure I wasn't going to make a late payment, they could have figured this out. After trying for 2 weeks to get the payment back they inform me it would just be taken off of the next month if I left it in there. Had they told me that from the beginning I would have not tried for 2 weeks to get it back to have it for the next month. I have driven over 4000 miles and called the garage to make an appointment while I was on lunch. There was no answer, and no voice mail. I called sales, he said he'd transfer me and in the middle of my sentence explaining not transfer me, he does anyways. There are literally not enough characters to list all of the bad experiences so far.

I purchased a Groupon offer for an oil change to this dealership. During this appointment I was notified that there had been a recall on my car and around the same time I was having stalling problems with the car. They diagnosed that the crankshaft sensor needed replacement. Over $400 later I happen to be at a function where a mechanic friend attended and was telling him about my recall and repairs. He looked at the car and at first thought nothing was done to the car because the hose connected to the sensor was still the old one. Upon contact, Kia salesperson said to save me time (labor cost) the new hose was spliced off the new sensor and rewired to the old one. I had initially wanted my timing belt replaced at the same time because it needs to be removed in order to fix this sensor, they stated that the timing belt did not have to be removed to do the job. They eventually redid the job correctly, but the number of days I was without a car and the inconvenience of the entire situation was a nightmare. I'm certain they didn't think I would ever realize what poor work was done to my car. Their poor work quality and even worse, lack of integrity would keep me away from this service area forever. I love Kias, but I totally feel taken advantage by this dealership.

I bought a used car through these guys and it was a breeze. I tried to buy a car through one of the stores down the street the week prior, and they couldn't match my price on multiple cars. So I went to Kia and Mazda a few days later and like I said it was great! The manager and the salesman were awesome, very friendly. They were straight forward and helped choose the right car. And on top of that they were able to finance me that day! I even got a call from the salesman who sold me the car a week later just to check up on me, very pleasant surprise. Not to mention they just did some work in the showroom and renovated their customer waiting area, looks good.
