I've had the worst experiences with car dealerships. I came here with my guard completely up. after 5 minutes with this man i felt so at ease with the whole experience. I wasn't in the market for a car i just wanted to see my options but he seriously has me thinking of getting a new one. Fingers crossed that my husband says yes.

Wonderful Experience!!

Second time in for service work and really had a wonderful experience both times! Thank you Gwinnett Place Ford and thank you to Matt Lane for making a normally unpleasant experience pleasant!

A comedy of errrors....except no one is laughing.

I purchased a used Mercedes from this dealership. No trade in, cash deal. What could be simpler, right? Strike 1: They first charged calculated Georgia sales tax although I and they were very clear I was titling the car in NC. Then when they realized that error due to the overage in the certified check they had me get, they wanted to give me a virtually worthless warranty in lieu of the $900 refund I was owed. Strike 2: Next they forgot to have me sign power of attorney and so 2 weeks later they contacted me to tell me that and that I was being mailed all the documentation to get my own license plate. Please be advised that they made no mention of my refund check and put me off about that when they told me of the power of attorney error. One month after I overpaid them due to their arithmetic error I received my refund. Strike 3: Although I told them the minute I went through the door I would pay cash if I decided to take the car, they apparently applied for credit for me anyway. So today, 2 months after I paid cash for that car and endured the other errors that were time consuming and annoying, I received a letter from a finance company saying my application was now null and void since I did not use it. That letter contained my 800+ credit score, and yet I never applied for credit, the dealership apparently did so on my behalf without my knowledge. Buyer beware somehow doesn't seem strong enough!

sold me a car with cheap paint job now fading

They sold me a certified 2009 Mustang Gt in 2011after three years the clear coat is fading on the entire car the sales people are horrible the only solution they have is well trade in your car i had bought a warranty that covered the paint and they will not value it they said that it could not be covered under the warranty because the car was sold with a bad paint job and that it was my fault for purchasing the car had a clean car fax its sad to see that a such a big dealer won't even care about what ford stands for you might as well buy a car at one of those cheap dealers because Gwinnett Place Ford is starting to seem like it the people who work here should be proud to work at a dealer that stands for what ford is and not some cheap sneaky dealership that will just sell you a car to make a cut on the sale. Before people would ask me where i got my car so they can see if they can go get a car now they ask me so they no where not to go no everyone now says nice car but what happen to the paint and all I can say is Gwinnett Place Ford sold me a cheap painted car since they will not do anything I hope that this review helps anyone not go to Gwinnett Place Ford for this $1500 paint job that they could have fixed I hope that people see this review and make Gwinnett Ford lose more then the price I have to pay to fix their fraudulent ways of selling cars.

Our "Go to Salesman, go to dealership"

This is the second car we purchased from Lennox Wallace and Gwinnett Place Ford, and highly recommend the experience to all. Lennox gives car salesmen a good name. He is extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and does what's best for the customer. He does not talk in circles trying to get you to buy something you don't want or can not afford, he works with you completely, and the dealership is awesome. We have had service done on our sons vehicle, which we also purchased there, and the service department is also outstanding. I can't say enough, but I can say that Lennox is the first person we will look for anytime we need a vehicle, he has wonderful ethics, and we appreciate that very much. Thank you to Lennox and the team at Gwinnett Place Ford for getting us the right vehicle at the right price again.

horrible

I was told over the phone a price and was told that they would match my trade in price from another ford dealership. So i drive 1 1/2 hours to get there well 4 hours later they offered 4000 less for my trade and went up on the price they finally come down on the price so i go to sign the papers then they come back with a interest rate 4 points higher than quoted. I will never go back. Also they are a bunch of vultures i didnt even get in the parking lot and they knocked on my window to try to help me! The salesman Mike Donnelly was also working with 3 different customers at the same time he was with me that just tells me they can care less about customers its just selling cars.

Bad experience

They took forever to put the deal together and time at the dealership was way too long. The finance department is very good at screwing you... be careful. They came after additional tag fees weeks after the deal was closed. They are very hard to reach after the deal for post closing support.
