On December 19th 2025 I took my Honda Odyssey to Germain

On December 19th 2025 I took my Honda Odyssey to Germain Honda of Dublin for an oil change, my car passed all their inspections which they gave to me in writing. However when my service technician came to me he told me that I needed a new oil pan because the threads were stripped when the mechanic took his high impact wrench to take the bolt off of the oil pan. I was told by service technician that Walmart was who stripped the pan back in April 2025 but if that was the case how did my oil stay in the car with no oil leaks up till 12/19/2025, especially driving across all the bad roads in Columbus Ohio I was told that a new oil pan would have to be put on my car because they could not get the bolt back into my oil pan. I asked the service technician if there was any other way that my car could be fixed so I could drive it home and I was told no, I was told that it would cost $1,200 to repair my car when all I wanted was an oil change for $20 with coupon. I informed them that I did not have that kind of money when I spoke with the service manager Amy Pickens she informed me 2 days later after I had towed my car off their lot (to avoid storage fees) that they would repair the oil pan by rethreading my old oil pan and putting a larger bolt in the pan but I would have to have it towed back to their dealership at my expense. I informed Amy Pickens that my car was at another shop being repaired since their mechanic broke my car. I reached out to the general manager Rich Newsome left a message on his voice mail he did return 1 call but I never got the opportunity to talk to Mr Newsome. Amy Pickens asked me how much is my car costing me to get repaired I informed her I have a receipt she asked for it to be emailed to her. I personally walked the receipt into her office and handed it to her. Amy said she will get with Rich Newsome and get back to me on them standing behind their bad work on tearing up my car. Amy Pickens called me saying Rich Newsome doesn't want to refund my money to me he wants to give me 2 oil changes & a tire rotation. I told her this was a insult to me, especially since my family has bought several cars from this dealership. We have them do all service work on our Honda Accord since 2010. I am still waiting for a follow-up call from the general manager Rich Newsome, it has been 3 days since my last phone conversation with Amy Pickens to schedule an appointment with Rich Newsome the General manager of Germain Honda of Dublin I am moving forward with my complaint until I get satisfaction. I am not wanting any oil changes from this dealership for fear of them ruining my car again & having to pay out more money for repairs. The 2 oil changes and a tire rotation would not even cost the dealership what it cost me to repair my car due to their mechanic negligence that worked on my car on December 19th 2025. This is an example of Germain Honda of Dublin not standing behind their work done by their mechanic . To add salt to my problem the mechanic who ran the test on my car stated that I have a transfer case on my car this isn't true (my Odyssey is not an all wheel drive) they wanted to charge me for something that doesn't exist on my car. This was just one of several items listed that was incorrect about my car and if I didn't know my car and had taken their word I would be out of a lot of money and they would have stolen money from me and not performed any work. Beware of Germain Honda of Dublin Service Department in Dublin Ohio

This is the 2nd Honda I have bought from this dealer

This is the 2nd Honda I have bought from this dealer ship. The experience was above my expectations from the moment I walked through the door and drove off with my used Civic. The atmosphere was pleasant and everyone I met was smiling. Not acting like they wished they were somewhere else. I was treated with respect and all my questions were answered. KB had the patience of a saint! I was not sure what style of Honda I wanted or needed. With the few guidelines I had, Kevin showed me what used Hondas they had available and explained all of their included options. This made my decision process a lot simpler. I did not feel rushed or pressured to buy this or "that" car which was above my spending comfort zone. I walked away with my used low milage Honda Civic a very happy person. If another car is ever needed I will buy from Germain Honda of Dublin again. Thank you Kevin for a smooth buying experience.

I bought a used Honda Odyssey 2013 car from a Germain

I bought a used Honda Odyssey 2013 car from a Germain Honda of Dublin 6715, SAWMILL ROAD DUBLIN, OHIO 43017, on the basis that it is a good car that does not complain about anything. The salesperson confirmed to me that the car has no problems. After completing the procedures for buying and exiting the car, i discovered that driving the car on the public road is not safety at all, as when braking, the car vibrates from the front as well as the steering wheel. I came back to them, they gave me the inspection date on Thursday at 6:00 am and they received the car from me and I stayed there waiting for it to go out until 8:00 am without them doing anything. The technician told me I can go and I will call you during the day to see what we can do about this. I went to work and I didn't receive any convincing response, so I came back to them after work and they gave me a second appointment on Friday at 6:00 am where I was there on time and I was surprised by the same technician telling me why I came I have nothing to do for your car and I think it's not safe to drive it, and that the sales department did not inform me of anything related to you car, so go now. Imagine buying an unsafe car from the international Honda company and feeling regretful and that the seller agent who bought you the car cheated because you thought you were dealing with a reliable company and not with a car owner seller you met through one of the social media platforms. Now I'm in danger every day I go to work, I risk my life and the lives of others as well, it's to underestimate people's minds, but more than that, it's hurting people and making them vulnerable to road risks. It's greed.
