I'll try to keep this short. We ordered a factory order brand new 2023 Range Rover in January 2022 and placed a $2,500 deposit. We waited patiently for the car to arrive 10 months later in October 2022. We explored different financing options - lease, buy, and ended up securing our own pre-approval with financing from our bank. We arranged an appointment to meet in person to walk through everything in person and get an appraisal on our 2019 Range Rover as trade-in. Before we even got there they had sold our custom ordered car from under us for a huge mark-up to some poor sucker. They sold it literally an hour before we got there knowing full well we were coming in later. They sold our car while still holding our cash as a deposit. WIth no other Range Rovers in the state of California in the spec we wanted, we bought out our lease. I am disgusted we purchased a car from them. This would have been our 4th full-size Range Rover and the beginning of what could have been a long relationship with Marin. What they did was so short-sighted, extraordinarily unethical and reflects extremely poorly on the Land Rover brand. A little digging and already we've found lots of other customers who have experienced major issues with this dealership group. I implore you to avoid Land Rover Marin at all costs.

Keeps me coming back
I bought my first Volvo in the city 15 years ago then started getting service in Marin shortly after so I have known these guys a long time. I have considered buying other kinds of cars, but I keep coming back to Volvo because of the service experience and the people providing it.

Ease of making an appointment, speed checking in car, attention provided by customer service representative, waiting area enables me to work in a nice environment while waiting for car, quality of repair, and cleanliness upon returning car.

We worked with Tex and he was so great to work with. Super straight forward and kind. We went with our baby during a pandemic and felt safe, cared for, and not pushed around at all. Probably the most straight forward purchase we’ve made. After previously being loyal to Walnut Creek we had some bad experiences with their new leadership/employees. I searched around and made contact with Tex (Thomas) Harrison. It all seemed to easy, my husband and I thought maybe we’d have a different experience when we showed up in person but nope, it was so easy and straight forward. We will buy from them again.
Best service in my experience
Bill Moakly is the best Service Advisor I have ever worked with. I have had my Volvo’s serviced at Marin / Luxury for many years. Bill is very knowledgeable, always quick with a smile, thorough. He is one of the reasons we keep buying Volvo’s!

Bill Moakley is one of the best Service Advisors in the industry. He's courteous, professional, knowledgeable, responsive, and extremely helpful. Making appointments and dropping off our car is easy and convenient. If the service can be completed within a couple of hours, I use Marin Volvo's customer lounge and desks to conduct my work with my laptop while waiting. The quality of work is always very good, and our car is returned to us fully cleaned. I live in Berkeley, but it's well worth the extra distance to drive to Corte Madera to have Marin Volvo service our car.
