    Very poor Service and Repair performance. Missing bolts and parts after service. Not very knowledgeable of what they are doing. Service Department lacks... courtesy and reliability in terms of schedules. Bad experience for me.

    $150 just to look at the car, when i clearly requested a particular job to be done. no matter how i tried, no estimate for that particular job

I spoke with the service advisor who received your phone call regarding gett...ing an estimate for what you described as a "broken transmission cable". Unfortunately, diagnosis and repair of a failed item cannot be accurately quoted over the phone, without us inspecting the vehicle and knowing what is wrong with it. It would be doing both you, and us a disservice to inaccurately diagnose and quote something over the phone. The advisor let you know that there would be a charge to inspect and diagnose your vehicle, but it would most likely be applied to the repair if you chose to do it with us.     I decided to buy 2014 Mitsubishi Outlander and that was the only easier part.... talking to different dealers was a pain.... but then I some how got in... touch with Chris from Oakland Mitsubishi... believe me from then on, it was all smooth :-) Chris, patiently answered all my queries and help me chose the right variant at a fabulous price. Chris also helped me get the best rate for car finance... and to my convenience Chris facilitated all this over the phone... Finally today I went and just picked my car after the formal paper work and it was a wonderful experience overall. Thank you Chris for all your help and co-operation. I would recommend to talk to Chris once if you plan to buy a new Mitsubishi car.
