Stay a way from this dealership!! I reviewed the car and the price on line prior to test driving the car. Lone Star Toyota Does Not honor their prices... and uses deceptive sales practices .
The car buying experience is stressful to anyone! I wanted to make sure i was getting the best deal possible. Thats when Steve the sales manager came in,... his super fun and bubbly personality definitely made me more calm. He stressed that he was going to do anything and everything he could to make us happy and that meant a lot to me and make buying a car with Toyota was going to be worth my time. He was very kind and was able to give us some perks. Im not gonna lie that definitely made my decision to buy just a little more easier. Thank you Steve!
great customer service by Caleb..i never had an easier time at a dealership...also...the finance gal was super and efficient
I had a nagging issue with my 14 year old Tacoma with over 200k miles on it. Robert McMillan made sure the diagnoses was correct - and the repair was... done on time.
Jasmine helped me from start to finish and was so friendly, relatable, and worked hard for me to get me the best deal. She didn’t give up and followed... up with me and got me exactly what I needed and what I expected. If you’re coming here, talk to her! Everyone else was attentive, nice, and always made sure I was good when she was working her magic.
We just purchased a 2019 Highlander and had a great experience! From our salesman James Nunez and sales manager Kevin to finance director Danny and Justin,... the process could not have gone more smoothly. We had an issue with the tailgate that was totally our ineptness but when we called, we received great help from sales people as well as Jordan in Internet sales. We would definitely recommend Lone Star Toyota if you are thinking of purchasing a new car.
Test drove a used 4 Runner and had a trade-in. Showed sincere interest and was given a range of value for trade-in - was told by the manager, with the... sales person present, that he needed to see what he had into the 4 Runner and that he would call back the next day with numbers. By 5 pm the next day we had not received a call - so we called them and the sales person said he didn't know that they were supposed to call us back...but did tell us that another person was looking at the car so we needed to move quickly if we wanted it - I think that tactic came from page 12 of the book titled, "Car Salesman Lines of BS." We then stopped by the dealership and talked with another manager, we were told that it was the half day of work for the manager that we had talked with the day before - just more evidence that they never intended to call us. We were then presented an offer with the 4 Runner priced $1000 more than what was on the lot and our trade in at $500-$1000 less than what we had been told - see Chapter 2 titled "Bait and Switch" of the same book. Back to the sincere interest in a vehicle - the next day we purchased a used 4 Runner from Toyota of Richardson - that treated us great and didn't play games agreed to the high end of the trade in and worked $1000 off the price of the 4 Runner which put it towards the lower percentile of the KBB fair market range.
Purchased a vehicle here in May of 2019. The vehicle has been riddled with sensor issues and the service department has been working on getting this corrected.... The car has been in the shop longer than with me. Make sure you get your vehicles tested/inspected before shopping at this dealership. Turns out the vehicle was in an accident never reported to CARFAX. The overall shopping experience was great until after we purchased the vehicle. Even the salesmen, Allan got short tempered and started making statements such as, "We are done with you", "I did this for you as a favor". Very off-putting. Purchasing pre-owned vehicles is such a tough thing as it is already.
I started a negotiation conversation over the phone with the Used Car Sales Dept., (will not mention names, out of respect and professional courtesy),... and during the whole process, that lasted over a week or so, everything was going great, but unfortunately, could not come through on my end, due to, both, finances/budget and personal reasons beyond my control. I did apologize for any inconveniences and/or misunderstandings, on my behalf. I will try them again in the the next few weeks, this time been sure that I can deliver on my end, like $$ for down payment, if any, and car insurance, and most of all, transportation for me to get there.
I went to get a second key made today. Also got my car washed, and vacuumed just because Thanks a lot Robert McMillan!! Great Service
