    This was the our first car and honestly speaking we got the best deal and the nicest experience from McDavid. Right from the Auto Consultant Jesse Thompson with whom we dealt as well as rest of the guys which simplified the process of getting the whole process done. Kudos Mcdavid Honda for having so much lively and helpful people on-board. We have already recommended you guy's to our Family, Friends and Relatives.

    I had an horrible experience with McDavid Honda of Frisco. I am not sure how this dealership was awarded best dealership award. I was at the dealership on 09/19/2016 looking for a new civic. I made a deal with one of the managers, gave a deposit of $500(around 9pm) and told them that I would come and get the vehicle on weekend. So on weekend I go to get the car and the manager with whom I had made the deal was no longer with the dealership and new car sales manager said he cannot honor the deal since pervious manager did not put the deal on paper even when one of his associates who was present during the time of the deal confirmed him about the deal. When I was trying to explain the situation to the new manager, he repeatdely said he can not understand me. I kind of felt he was trying to ridicule my asian accent. He refunded me the my deposit and I had to leave the dealership with such a disappointment. For sure this dealership is not going to get my business nor am I going to refer any of my friends/family to this dealership.

    The service at David Mcdavid is one of the worst. I can explain my experience and you decide. My car had a battery issue and I got it replaced outside the dealership but it has charging issue which forced me to come to dealership and they fixed it up . At least I thought they fixed it . In actual , my new battery was dying a slow death due to the bad service given by dealership . After a month , my car started giving start issues . I brought car to the dealership and they diagnosed it's not a battery issue but it's starter needs to get replaced and I agreed to that. This starter fix made engine light on and my car broke down in the middle of the road even with in 16 hours of getting it fixed. I hired a tow truck to bring car back to dealership and now they said it's a alternator issue . If they diagnosed and found starter is the issue then how come alternator got bad . Now I have no car to go to office and they don't give a loan car as well. This company claims best service and to my experience they just market themselves but they just target your pocket .

    I come across town because Buddy Mays is the only service manager/advisor that I trust making sure I have total preventive maintenance on all six of the Honda's I've owned. He's a good listener, he works well with the mechanics, he excepts all my discount coupons, and because I've used them for years I feel confident and trust what he's telling me as it relates to keeping my vehicles in tiptop shape!

    2 Hours for a oil change and rotate of my tires and then to make things worst tires not rotated and when I asked for manager the guy told me that he was no where to found and that he is never there anyways. Go down the street to get this done for much cheaper and better service.

    Saw a car they advertised on Cars.com. Drove to the dealer and looked for the car. Not there. Talked with a salesperson, after 30 min. talking and waiting, car not there went back to auction. Car will be back soon. Never called back. Called them and said it will be back next day. Next day no call. Called them, car will be there soon. Finally I told them we were not in the market anymore. Frustrating experience. Still see the car advertised on Cars.com.

    I have actually bought 2 cars from this location over the years. With my most recent purchase I was promised a Garmin because the vehicle I came to check out was advertised as "with navigation". They showed us a picture of a particular model Garmin I was to receive and I approved it. when I was called to come pick it up it was a different model Garmin. Long story short, I had to go buy my Garmin and present the receipt to get reimbursed. Ok, I thought, they are only human. One mistake over 5-6 years is a pretty good track record in my book. However, my sister recently found herself wanting a new car (certified pre-owned). I told her not to waste her time going anywhere else, McDavid Frisco is the only place to go. It was a pretty good experience. Taylor was very helpful, however he promised me referral compensation and promised my sister a valet key - that was 2 months ago. Taylor doesn't work there anymore but we have emailed, called and gone there in person to speak to a manager (Chris T). He told us valet keys don't normally come with certified preowned cars but he would look into it. The cost to that dealership would be peanuts and they should stand behind promises made. Chris also had me fill out another W-9 form and said I would receive my referral money soon. One week later I hadn't heard of any progress on the key or my check so I emailed Chris. He then copied me on a letter with the finance officer that handled my sisters paperwork. This has been 2 weeks later now and I have sent him another email. No response. If this is any indication of their customer service then I will have to buy my cars somewhere else in the future - faithful in little - faithful in much! Their service department is great - I recommend it

    My review is a little late, as the vehicle was purchased last month, December, 2015. After some initial texting, emails and missed phone calls, we were finally able to meet with Samuel to select a vehicle. I had previously informed him of my financial situation and the type of vehicle I was interested in. We finally made a decision on a used Volkswagen Jetta that I liked. I also had the pleasure of meeting and speaking with Kenneth Jones and Ron Jackson as well. Overall, this was the best car buying experience ever!!! I would recommend David McDavid of Frisco to anyone wanting to purchase a new or used vehicle.

    I bought a new 2016 Pilot, went in for a door scratch and defected panel on Wednesday. The service advisor told me the car will be ready by Saturday at 10:00 am, but the car wasn't ready ( no one told me , wasted my trip and time) 2 days later when I pick up my car, the window trim was broken and hanging by the door, I asked who is responsible for the quality control on this job, no one knows. So I had to leave my car again after coming to pick it up. I drove my rental car longer than my new car? After 7 days, my sales manager Chris stepped in and did the quality control himself. Thank goodness the third time up there to pick up my car it was fixed properly with no other issues. I love the new 2016 Pilot. I don't like driving up to the service department multiple times to pick up a finished job to find a car isn't ready. Thanks Chris for stepping in. After a week with my new Pilot, the service director Buddy called me and asked me how is the car? and do I have any questions? A real caring person actually communicate with me! I love it ! I told him, I got a smear on the back of the odometer lens and the idle stop does not work 50%. He immediately order a new lens and explain why the idle stop stops working is either the battery is low or the temperature of the car does not meet the condition. I love this guy very knowledgeable ! He is my Buddy for life !
