I have bought many new cars and my experience at Bill Dube was the worst ever. It started well with their Internet sales team agreeing to match a lease... quote from another dealer with a slight adjustment because their Highlander had a couple of extra options but went downhill after driving an hour to Dover expecting to buy a new SUV. We introduced ourselves as having talked to the Internet team and the sales rep who worked with us started at over $200/month higher than our agreed price! We showed him the emails with the Internet team and he called over a manager. She said she could not match the price we had been promised. After going through several proposals, she said the absolute best she could do is $25/month higher and an $2,000 down. Not even close! She tried to justify the difference by saying the vehicle in stock had $1k in extra options so has to add $30/month to the lease. I explained to her that she was wrong - a $1k increase in MSRP is $10/month with the residual and money factor used by Toyota. She still as she had incorrectly insisted it is $30 more. I don't know if she doesn't understand leases or if this is a tactic used at Bill Dube to convince customers to pay more than they should for a lease. I then used the Toyota web site on my phone and configured exactly the same vehicle to show her the Toyotathon lease rate from Toyota was much lower than her offer. She tried saying that Toyota charges fees that were included in her lease proposal but she could not list fees that came close to explaining the difference. It was clear that she was unable or unwilling to match the lease deal her own Internet team had offered and also would not match the lease deal on the Toyota web site. There was no point continuing the conversation so we left and bought from the other dealer.
Came in with my mother and stepfather as they wanted to get a Sienna minivan. There were a couple of used Siennas to look at which fit right in the price... and payment range, as well as some new vehicle options which interested us. The pricing was more than fair and the salesperson and sales manager were so nice. Debbie (the owner) came over and introduced us to her cute little dog as well :) Just a great experience overall and I would highly recommend Ali to anybody. Really nice guy, personable, worked hard for us.
I ordered a 2016 Tacoma with Bill Dube at a very good price. At first the communication was not the best as I had to keep calling in to check on the status... rather then them calling me. After a few weeks I was told they could get me the exact truck I ordered but only a few days later they told me Toyota did not accept the order/changes and they could get me a very similar truck but not the exact one I ordered. The difference in the truck was only a certain package so it was still very close. I decided to still order the truck. It took approx. 2 months to get delivered. Although it took some time, Bill Dube did come through with their promise. Thank you for being honest and keeping you word!
On Sat. 5/11/19 I was used truck shopping thought I'd check them out, salesman Brian met me in parking lot, asked what I was looking for, I replied used... trucks, not a Ford, excellent experience, I've always been a G. M guy I now drive a fine F150, great place and people to do business with
I bought truck from them. 6 miles from the shop, brake has issues and transmission start to have problem too. I brought it back and they promised me to... get another truck. Week passed, they said they had to wait for manager approval for fixing it. Two weeks with promised, i got the same truck.
bought 2 new vehicles this week, one for my wife and a truck for me. This was the absolutely the worst experience that I have ever experienced. The salesman... was totally unprofessional. At the end of the sale when I had legitimate questions, he got upset, got confrontational and talked loudly across the showroom floor. I only wish the events happened before the end of sale or I would have run away from this dealership. I have purchased 13 new vehicles in my lifetime and never got treated like I did here. Take my advice, stay away!
I was looking for a specific vehicle and color and live in a different state. I received an email saying they had the vehicle currently in transport to... the dealership. I cringe when I have to buy a car because I know how bad it can be. As most people say, why do they treat customers so poorly? Do they really think someone will be a return customer if you treat them poorly? Having purchased many cars from many dealerships, this transaction was the easiest purchase I ever made. Ron Lessard had all the answers to my questions and is an asset to the Dube sales team. As was, the same with Matt in the financial office. After emailing them about what I was looking for and they sent me the email saying it was on the way to them and they also stated a price that I already had considered a fair price for the car . I was looking locally for this vehicle, no one had it but wanted me to settle for what they had on their lot and wouldn’t move much on their pricing. So here I am as a customer having to settle for something I didn’t really want and they were still squeezing me on the price, not very good salesmanship. I chose to continue looking. After the treatment we received at Bill Dube toyota I would not have any reservations about purchasing future cars there. Great Job Bill Dube! At 59 yrs old that was the best, easiest and least stressful car purchase I ever made in my lifetime . I will be back!
Went to Bill Dube for a 2014 Rav 4 I saw on their website. Took a test drive Nice car but a little out of my price range. My daughter has a 2009 Limited... Rav 4 that I love driving. My sales associate Brian Doyle was exceptional He had an older model that I tried that had a little more wear and tear and mileage than I wanted. Brian showed me several other Rav 4's Never once did I feel like I was being pressured to buy. He then told me he had the perfect car for me that was within my budget I wanted. It was perfect . The color , mileage and condition, I couldn't have asked for anything more. The only thing it didn't have that I really wanted was a driver's heated seat. Brian said he could have one installed at no cost to me. I love my used Rav 4 Thank you Bill Dube Toyota and a huge thank you to Brian Doyle for outstanding customer service
So far I've purchased three different vehicles from Brian Doyle Bill Dube Toyota, and each time it is easier than the last. This time around it seems... like I barely put in any effort, but that's because the staff did all the work. I was rear-ended by an SUV in the never-ending dumpster-fire that is New Hampshire's Route 16, during a rainstorm. My car was totaled (Frame Damage) and my insurance company only gave me a couple of days for my rental once they determined my settlement. I took that Friday off of work (Accident was on Tuesday) and was determined to get my insurance check, get the car, and be done with it all in the same day. Ambitious, yes, but if any team of people could get it done, Brian and the team could. I found what would become my vehicle online Thursday night (super late), and wanted to take a look at the car the following morning. I left a voicemail for Brian and let him know I was interested, and had hoped it was still available. I showed up early the following morning and Brian's colleague put me in the car for a demo (it was really early and I showed up without an appointment... Great customer, right?) The car was perfect except for two minor issues that were fixed immediately and with great enthusiasm. Once we got inside and put everything in black and white, Brian ran our payment grid by the Sales Managers Ann and Jerry, who were working hard behind the scenes to get me out the door the same day. Josh the Business Manager put all my contracts together and offered an outstanding array of finance products like GAP and warranty protections, all while working with my bank of choice to get me a fantastic rate I was happy with. Once the paperwork was done I took delivery of an amazingly clean, inspected car with a full tank. They let me leave my Enterprise rental in the middle of their parking lot while I drove away without an care in the world that I had made a bad decision. There's a reason this business has been a fixture in the Dover community for over 40 years, and why I keep coming back time after time for both service and when I need a new car. Brian has been my go-to since we first met in 2014, and there's no reason he shouldn't be yours too. They work hard here, and I definitely wouldn't have typed all this out if they didn't.
I went here to get my first car and let's just say the entire team was veryyyyyyy amazing. From the moment I walked in to the moment I walked out phenomenal... customer service from Everyone at this Toyota. Ron Lessard is a phenomenal Product Specialist. And the whole team just exceeded my expectations.
