horrible experience

After speaking with Ashley several times she assured me truck was clean and to test drive. After driving 1.5 hours got there and the sales person I meet was clueless on my name which. Told him and then he called me Mike. Couldn't find truck either for about 25 minutes. He then got it and the truck was filthy, turns out the owner of the dealership used it for the past 3 months. Put 4K miles on from the car fax and had pet hair dirt and stains all on the floor beside. Cement dirt and even a shooting range shell from the outside. Obviously did not want to sell the truck and clueless on this one. The cover and mudflaps were removed from original picture. After all this I still was going to but truck. Didn't budge on price. All I got was no no no. Don't waste your time going here.

Think twice

Think twice about shopping at Rochester Toyota. They took a deposit, I shopped around and now they are ignoring me. Don’t pay them anything until you are totally committed.

Great Used Car Salesman

We really enjoyed working with Cole. He was very professional and we were impressed with his the Honda Fit we were interested in, even though they primarily sell Toyota's. Cole made sure that we test drove the vehicle in a variety of different terrains. It made us feel this was the vehicle that we really wanted. We also liked the fact that when we picked up the car it was very clean. One minor point. When we were driving the car home we realized that someone never took off the dealer cardboard plate that was covering both the front and back MN license plates. Thanks for all you did.

Disappointed first time car buyer

Recently purchased a car from Rochester Toyota. I'm a first time car buyer and was hoping for a good experience buying a used car from them. However, a few things made my experience far from ideal. First, three days after purchasing the car, it wouldn't reverse. Obviously this was concerning and I had to have my vehicle towed up to the dealership because I was told Rochester Toyota doesn't offer towing services. They then told me it was a loose bolt and that they were sorry and they didn't charge me for fixing it. But it still cost me to tow the car and get an Uber up to the dealership to pick up the car ( note* the service person I spoke with was genuinely helpful and kind so I appreciated that). Then, just weeks after I purchased my car, Rochester Toyota sent me a written offer to buy my car back (they send this every month or so). Nothing wrong with this except they offered me the "Kelley Blue Book value" of my car... nearly six thousand dollars less than I paid them just weeks before. During my talks with the salesman I worked with (who seemed inconvenienced by my wanting to buy the car that day) I was told repeatedly that the Kelley Blue Book numbers I kept bringing up were really low and that they need to "keep the lights on" at the dealership. So basically, they oversold me on my first car so that they could make more profit and then had the audacity to send me repeated written offers for what they say the car is actually worth. Really disappointed that a dealership would treat a first time car buyer this way. You hear how bad car salesman/dealerships can be and I now understand why.

Robert Knowlton

This was an excellent experience. Bob Knowlton was knowledgeable and patient with me through the process of purchasing a new vehicle. I traded in my 2008 Toyota 4 Runner and was pleasantly surprised how much they gave me as a trade in towards the purchase of a 2017 Toyota 4 Runner. Very professional folks, outstanding service department, and excellent inventory. I rate this as one of the best car buying experiences I have ever had. I highly recommend Rochester Toyota!

Friendly, Fair and Professional

Purchasing the used pickup that I wanted was very easy at Rochester Toyota. There was no pressure, and friendly and efficient service. I had to come back a second day (because I wanted to get a certified check from the bank), and the dealership even drove 1/2 hour to my house to pick me up, so I could drive home in the pickup that day. Very nice!

Concerned Mother

Have purchased many vehicles from you. So I felt very comfortable bringing my daughter to you to purchase her first Toyota RAV4. Jeff Stevens, Ray Bailey and Michael Walker treated her with patience, understanding and dignity. We will continue to purchase our vehicles from your dealership!!!
