Bought new and were treated with old school tactics! I was Very dissapointed with the shenanigans of let me go and talk to my manager and see what I can do for you? I am an intelligent person and would like to be treated with respect, and felt like the whole situation was dumbed down. Buying a new car is not intelligent, if you are intelligent do not buy a new car. I felt like I was taken advantage of owing so much on my trade in. They asked what my payoff was and I told them the approximate amount, I was off by 302.05$ and now I owe them 302.05, after spending 57.000$ after taxes with these people. Overall disappointed with the treatment we received from Toyota of Puyallup. WILL NEVER BUY NEW AGAIN.....

Review Toyota of Puyallup Let me start by saying that my husband and I were so nervous about buying a used car. Once we bought a car private party. We ran the carfax purchased it only to find out that if had been in a bad accident. There were no airbags and we had no idea! We were driving ur family around in this car. The carfax didn?t show the accident because we purchased it the small window of time it was being reported. We looked online for weeks and really felt like we wanted to purchase from a dealer that we could trust. We had narrowed it down to two vehicles and the confidence warranty at Toyota of Puyallup is what sold us. We had peace of mind! During the purchase we noticed the drivers seat panel needed to be re-attached. We drove from a few hours away to make the purchase so we didn?t want to have to drive the car back for repairs. Toyota of Puyallup went out of their way to make sure this repair could happen at our local dealership. Within a few days of purchase the car maintenance lights turned on and it started having issues. Immediately we contacted Toyota of Puyallup and again, they went out of their way to not only have our local dealership repair it, they provided a rental car that my husband didn?t want to give back. I can?t tell you how nervous we were when this happened, but Toyota of Puyallup rose to the occasion again. Lastly, the car we purchased had a DVD player and after driving over the pass home we noticed it didn?t have the remote of headphones needed to use. After contacting, Toyota of Puyallup, they reached out to the previous owner to get these. After all of their efforts, they ended up purchasing brand new headphones and a remote for us. After coming into the purchased traumatized from our previous experiences, I can only RAVE about how pleased we were with Toyota of Puyallup. Buying a car is stressful, and the reality is that things happen; and in our case, things happened that are outside of Toyota of Puyallup?s control. If you?re on the fence about buying private party or at a smaller dealership, my advise would be that peace of mind is priceless! Toyota of Puyallup treated my family well when we were freaking out. They probably lost money on us, but they cared more about making things right than a quick sale. There aren?t many dealerships that have that kind of integrity now a days. When we?re ready to purchase again, we will be back!
Don't use the service department for anything
Service department are lazy and very unorganized. This will cost YOU time and money. Made a warranty appointment for my truck I bought that same month from this dealership. When I showed up for my appointment it was not in the computer or scheduled at all. I had to explain the issues again in detail to another employee who took everything down and assured me my concerns were valid and would be addressed. They said to wait for a call the next day for an update. That call never came, I called them 3 days later only to find out that the technicians had looked at it and made notes that were non related to the issue and said that everything was safe to drive and to come pick it up. When I came down for the third time to the dealership with no results or plan to fix anything I decided to cut my losses and get my truck back. The dealership lost my keys! I sat in the waiting room for over an hour while ONE employee searched for my keys, they were never found that night. After just unloading the loaner car, they brought it right back out for me and said I would receive a call first thing in the morning with an update on my missing keys. Of course this call was never made at this point my wife got involved. The dealership had to make a new key and meet us with our truck to swap out the loaner car. All of this time and effort wasted because the technician wanted to explain away the issues instead of come up with a solution. Even if the work wasn't covered by warranty they could have quoted me the cost to fix it or offer up some ideas. I will never go back to this dealership for anything . I appreciate the online platform for transparency reasons, no business should get away with poor customer service like this and I hope I have steered some people clear of this place.
Poor Customer Service (but not the norm)
I have normally had stellar service here till today. My wife brought in the car and Nick Galletti tried charge her more than we quoted on a 60k service. Days before I booked the appt and we agreed with another rep that we would back at the oil change since we just did it. Nick tried to say the oil change was free and tried charge her the full price. I also was there to fix my rear gate and wanted to get this all done in one day. They gave us rental car, but Nick called back and said he forgot call he warranty company and he would call back again. He did and said that they didn't have the parts, needed the rental car back and I could come back when it arrives. Well my pregnant wife and I work full time and u should have told us that before and we would have waited for diagnostic 1st and then did all the services at once. Now. We have to waste another day! Neither time did he apologize for either issue! He told me "well I don't know why u are upset, when u said u would come back!" Smh! I drive all the way from auburn to come here, but I ll have to rethink that!

From the time I drove up with my car in the service line, to waiting in the service line, waiting for my car...the WHOLE experience was EXCELLENT - Well done - you certainly know how to make a customer feel warm and welcome and at home!
I came to this dealership after receiving one of those "YOU'RE PRE APPROVED FOR FINANCING!!!" e-mails from my credit card company. I normally delete those things right away since A) I'm not normally in the market for a car, and B) My credit is pretty sub-par. However, I got that e-mail on the day my '01 Jetta decided it was going to crap out on me again, and try and take my hand with it (2nd degree steam burns. long story) I got a call to set up an appointment from one of the sales managers, Jeff. I returned his call a few days later and set a time for that evening to come in. He asked me if I had an idea of what I was looking for. I told him that I had browsed their pre-owned section a bit as well as their new cars and the Scion iA looked like a car that could fit my needs and possibly my budget. He informed me that there was currently a rebate on those cars that would look like cash down, which was good for me since this trip was very much on a whim. I had looked over the fine print of the e-mail and it told me I could be approved for anywhere from $4K to $35K. I was expecting the low end, due to my credit, but wanted to give it a shot anyway because I was done with the Jetta. I got to the dealership, and met Jeff right away. He was very friendly and welcoming to my fiance and I. He got us some water while I filled out some of the paperwork and we met our Salesman, Patrick. Patrick was just as friendly as Jeff was. He got us an iA to test drive around the area, and I loved it. The thing drove like a dream. Very quiet on the inside. These were all just cherries on top of my only real criteria that was the car had to start reliably, unlike my Jetta. We got back to the dealership and sat down with Patrick while we waited for Jeff to finish the financing approval process. I was in the process of bringing myself back down from the new car excitement and bracing myself for the disappointment that I was sure was only a few minutes away, when Jeff walked up to the table and said "You're approved"! I thought he was joking at first. He set the paper down in front of me and said I got approved for the loan with a payment that was only $20 more than where I wanted to be if I could get into a car. The interest rate was high, but I was expecting that, and at this point, was fine with it since the payments were affordable! SOLD! I couldn't believe it. They used all of the rebate as the down payment and told me to hang on to the additional money I was going to put down, as it would only have brought my payments down around 12 dollars a month. I felt a wave of relief wash over me when I realized that I wasn't going to have to deal with stupid car troubles for quite a while. Everyone I interacted with at this dealership was so friendly and kind. I couldn't have had a better experience. Big thanks to Jeff, Patrick, and Tiffany for helping get me into a reliable vehicle at a fair price. This place knocked it out of the park.
Was looking to buy... had a decent experience
Have been looking to buy and reached out to this dealer for an inquiry... The internet department (I presume they were the ones that replied) contacted me quite a few times after the inquiry (seems to be a common practice when you don?t reply right away), and gave me a very template like response. However, after replying they answer my questions in a very honest and professional manner. Ultimately, their pricing was not as aggressive as I was expecting for a ?used? car (the car had less than 10k miles but its initial price was more than a new MSRP) so I decided not to pursue further but overall it was a good experience.
Excellent customer service. All of the staff are professional, courteous and knowledgeable. They go the extra mile to make sure your car is in excellent condition and any repairs are completed in a timely and professional manner.

This dealer just went through a major remodel, and it looks great. It has a very nice waiting area with lots of amenities. You do have to wait over an hour for you oil change so it's nice to have a great waiting area.
