I had a very disappointing experience with Diamond Jims. I had been in contact with Diamond Jim's regarding a car purchase. I found the vehicle on Cars.com, expressed my interest and due to my work schedule stated I would not be able to come pick up the car until Saturday as I would be coming from over 2 hours away and they close at 7. Diamond Jim's provided a signed purchase agreement with the full dollar amount including licensing and taxes. We set a time to come pick up the vehicle on Saturday. I was not financing the vehicle, so I also made sure that I had a cashier's check. I made plans to come visit from out of town. Then on Friday afternoon I received a very short email stating that the car was no longer available (somone else had come in and "claimed" the vehicle). I was surprised they provided a signed agreement. Maybe you would have a better experience walking in off the street but if you are doing research online to choose a specific vehicle, I would keep this dealership off of your search list. Perhaps this is legal but certainly not great business practice.
Look somewhere else!
My son was excited to find a sporty car at this dealership. Unfortunately problem after problem unfolded once it was finally brought home. They said they would replace the battery, but unfortunately the wrong type of battery was installed in his type of sportscar, engine work was needed... probably because of the wrong connections, unexplained issue after issue. Noone would give us answers and they didn't follow through with their word. His car was in the shop the first seven months after purchase!
Friendly and fair.
Walked in and out very happy with my trade offer as well as the truck I ended up buying. I hate buying vehicles, and was anticipating a poor experience. I was surprised that they were very friendly, not pushy and open about questions. They were up front about bringing the vehicle back if there were any issues or concerns if I had any. I can say I love my new to me truck. Service was kickazz and I left a happy camper.
Sellers aimed to satisfy
Immediately after telling the Saul what I was looking for, he led me straight to it. The pricing was very flexible and fair, and all the repairs or tweaks needed were met with friendly and time efficient service. I would recommend making Diamond Jim's your first stop when looking for a used vehicle. Thanks to Turk, Perry, Saul and Jared for their professionalism and courtesy in making certain my purchasing experience was the best it could possibly be!
terrible people that own the lot
Went there and got a car for 7k a nice clean BMW.... everything felt good when i first test drove it. nothing wrong with the car. after a couple days i started to hear noises. all my lights were coming on the dash board. and my car wasn't perfoming like it was suppose to. come to find out when i took it to my buddy's shop. the transmission and engine were terrible. and now my car is only worth 3k. Diamond jims sold me a car that had alot of major issues. I took it back asked them if they could take a look at it or possibly refund me for the money i payed on this car they said no. there sneaky, dis honest and terrible. Dont trust Diamond Jims!!!!!!
Excellent Experience
Purchased a car from the West Allis location. Joe and TJ made trading in my vehicle and upgrading to the perfect SUV a pleasant experience. My wish list was long and they worked hard to find me a vehicle that checked off all my boxes. Strongly suggest giving them a call if you are looking for a used car!
Great Experience, very professional!
Purchased my 2015 Ford Explorer from T.J. at their West Allis, WI. location. TJ was great; no hard sell, gave me information on vehicle promptly when asked, and gave me a trade-in concession bump on my vehicle and gave me a price reduction on the car I purchased. Their financing rates were excellent and they don't mark up the rate as well-known large dealerships often do. Took a test drive of the vehicle and TJ gave me my license prior to test driving. (Some dealerships hold your license until you finally say no multiple times). I will be back at Diamond Jim's when I'm looking for another car!
what a joke!
If you want to be told different things two days in a row by the same person then this is the place for you. One day they are willing to come pick you up and do everything in their power to sell you a vehicle. The next day they won't meet you at one of their locations to purchase that vehicle. When you have cash to pay for a Cadillac Escalade and they don't want your business.
Fantastic Experience
This is a great family business. Best used car buying experience I have ever had. It was 7 degrees the day I went. Both cars I looked at started immediately! Everyone was helpful and friendly. I got a great deal on an excellent car.
Buyers beware
This dealership buys junk and cleans them up very well and does not do proper inspections, buyers beware! I bought a nightmare from them, a true piece of crap! A $20,000 heap of junk I’ve stuck $5,000 in repairs in, in just 7 months
