STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!

STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!!! QUESTIONABLE OWNER, RIP OFF FINANCIAL SERVICES, QUESTIONABLE PRACTICES, QUESTIONABLE SALES REPRESENTATIVES! If you value your money stay away from dealership at all costs. In 2018 we bought 2017 Volkswagen Touareg with only 500 miles on the speedometer. This car was driven by the dealership owner and had some underline issue with the engine that salesperson (she got fired) failed to disclose. We had issue with this car engine every 2-3 weeks, same issue. We came there for service 7-8 times for the same issue. I've requested my money back under lemon law, since dealership failed over and over again to fix underline issue. Dealership using shady practices where for some reason 3-4 records of us servicing car at this dealership mysteriously disappeared. Their Service Department is a total joke with bunch of young kids doing repairs without actual knowledge and ability to properly troubleshoot the issue. I challenged that dealership and call them off on erasing 3-4 service records by posting negative review, on which dealership owner (total thug) kicked me out completely out of the dealership for posting review. More than that last time when we were picking up our car their salespeople left car parked with sunroof open on sunny day with 96 degrees temperature outside for literally whole day. When we came to pick up the car, temperature inside the car was probably over 140 degrees. We expressed our concern, and nobody even apologize for doing it. We took our car to the private repair shop, very high-end, and mechanic there managed to repair issue on the first attempt saying Volkswagen Service Department don't know what they are doing (they wanted to drop the gas tank and clean it up that required disassembly of the car engine. Issue was with the computer that was not properly setup by the Volkswagen Service Department. I complained to the owner saying your Service Department besides being completely incompetent also using shady practices by erasing service records. Dealership owner replied that their Service Department did what they been trained for and according to their standards. Their Financial Service is a total rip off, when we took the car loan, and I had very high credit score, they gave us 24% APR at the dealership. Later we re-financed the car at our bank that gave us literally 1.9% APR based on my credit score. This is not the end. Four years later I keep on getting harassing correspondence from the Southtowne Volkswagen Dealership from Braxton (Administrative Assistant) who I asked probably 10 times not to reach out to me, as I don't want to have any business with shady dealership that he is consistently ignored for the past three years, pretty much on monthly basis in which Braxton saying that he "REALLY WANT TO BUY YOUR CAR" over and over again disregarding my previous requests not to contact me. I am getting to the point that I am most likely will file a lawsuit against this dealership. SOUTHTOWNE IS A SCAM DEALERSHIP WITH SHADY OWNER. Message to the Southtowne Volkswagen owner: "AS I TOLD YOU LONG TIME AGO, I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH YOU! STOP REACHING OUT, I WILL NOT SELL MY CAR TO YOU AND IF I DO DECIDE TO SELL IT, IT WON"T BE YOUR SHADY DEALERSHIP OR ANY VW DEALERSHIP AS THE MATTER OF FACT. Read all of the negative reviews on Google, there are hundreds of customers that had pretty much same experience. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP AT ALL COST!

I honestly do not know how they have even about a 2 star

I honestly do not know how they have even about a 2 star rating. They have had my car for going on 6 months now. Every time we call they aren’t available or “in a meeting”. This entire time they’ve refused to give us a loaner car. They will not contact us until we call then we still get put on hold just to be told they aren’t available. I’ve been told more than 10 times that someone would call me back later, not once did they do so. They have the audacity to ask us questions like “Hey the car won’t go in reverse now, was it like that before?” or “ Hey it won’t go into 2nd gear was it like that before?” or “Hey was your speedometer working before?”. Obviously all of that was working which they should know that considering they’ve had to test drive it numerous times. Back in December I got it back for 2 days then it broke down again. It has been a nightmare working with them. Do not recommend. Update after 6 months of them absolutely messing this car up they called our insurance and said that they don’t know who caused all these problems (they did) and it must of just been things they missed in the initial inspection. Truth is, it was probably just costing them more money to fix because they couldn’t do anything right and once they fixed one thing, they broke another. Absolute nightmare, I could not stress this enough to STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE!

Service department was fair and didn’t try to push

Service department was fair and didn’t try to push unnecessary services on me. I got what I needed to done, and while it was a pricey visit, I don’t feel like I did more than the minimum maintenance needed to keep me on the road. Thanks team!
