I just bought my second vehicle from Volkswagen

I just bought my second vehicle from Volkswagen SouthTowne and up to this point have had a good experience. I would highly recommend going to Strong Volkswagen vs. SouthTowne. I have been mistreated, lied to, and stollen from all the way up to the general manager. This organization doesn't care about keeping return customers, they care more about covering there butts. I was working with a sales agent who was fired a couple weeks later. While working with the sales agent on my trade in I offered to bring in the original wheels with my E350 so they could swap them out with my MSW wheels and continental tires. The agreement between me and the sales agent was that I could pick up my MSW wheels once they removed them. I even have text messages I've shared with SouthTowne to show this but because they don't have a "We Owe You" statement of this they said there is nothing they can do. Here a text I received from Julie Davis, "Your purchase date was 10/27/2023, and I see that on 11/1/2023 sales agent did say "now to swap on the wheels for the box that was a no go", and I also see that he asked if you still want the black wheels from the Mercedes as well. I'm not sure who he's speaking of when he mentions Rachel, as we haven't had a person by that name work here. With some of the items making it into the Weowe and others not, it's hard to say what was truly promised as part of the purchase. When my general manager returns to the office tomorrow, I'll review these messages with him, and follow up with you by EOD Thursday." As you can see they will not be an advocate for the buyer. She did follow up with the GM but same response. Conveniently for them they fired the sales agent who I worked with and so no one there to back up my claim and it seems like I must not be a trustworthy person in their eyes and would lie about something like this. I'm very disappointed and can't believe they would steal from a customer. I would avoid doing any business with Volkswagen SouthTowne. The positive side is we love our new Volkswagen Atlas R Line.

There is a process we follow for all promises made that not only the salesperson goes over, but also finance without the salesperson present. We had no idea or knowledge of anything other than the listed items on your WeOwe until this month. Although we feel bad that it wasn’t brought to our attention sooner, there's nothing notated, even on the Trade Appraisal, that the wheels were to be removed. This is why we have multiple documents throughout the process to ensure our integrity is intact in making sure we keep our customers and the dealership whole. Had we been informed sooner, there may have been an opportunity for a different result. But now, months later, the vehicle clearly no longer in our possession, there's nothing more we can offer at this time. We are happy to hear that you’re enjoying your new car, and hope that we have the opportunity to regain your trust back in the future.

They sold us a lemon and knew it and didn’t tell us.

They sold us a lemon and knew it and didn’t tell us. The 2015 Volkswagen Touareg we bought from them started having problems from day one and everywhere we took it no one knows what’s wrong with it. We have spent a good amount of money on it. The car is pretty but it’s a piece of junk. So thank you for ruining our lives which it really did.

Tried to buy a car signed paperwork and thought the deal

Tried to buy a car signed paperwork and thought the deal was done only to be told that I needed a cosigner because of my credit wich made no sense because just two years previous I bought a brand new jetta with no cosigner. And my credit score was 100 points less. I will never go through these guys again.

Jasna, was one of the most sweet and kind and most helpful cells people I’ve ever had in my life goes above and beyond to make sure you are happy taking care of the finance managers were amazing. This place worked with me and helped me get into a vehicle quick and easy and I would recommend this place over and over again!
