"Experience Clear and Simple Car Buying and Selling"
We were ready to buy a black Versa hatchback from Josh. When we took the car for a test drive on a Saturday, we realized that the air conditioning didn't... work, the brakes needed to be replaced, the bumper was loose from the frame and the car interior was dirty. Josh said he would get back to us on Monday. We contacted him at 4 PM and he said the car had not been looked at by the mechanic yet. He got back to us on Tuesday and he said they needed to order parts and we have never heard from him again and it has been 2 weeks. We found a newer car, with 27,000 less miles on it and $2000 less than the vehicle at Carmax.
Terrible customer service, you have to find the personnel instead of them offering help. I wanted to test drive a car and it was obvious that they discriminated... us based on our age appearance, they took over 40 minutes "verifying" ID, when asked what was going on they said they were still verifying. The salesman Ray told us to wait by the car and didn't even have the decency to let us know what was going on, we stood there in the rain. We are cash buyers but will not be giving them any future business and much less recommend to anyone else.
Our salesmen, Miguel and Oscar were very helpful as we went thru this car-buying process, Miguel even helped me set up my bluetooth before I left for home... .......... I would recommend Car Max- this is our 2nd vehicle purchase at this location.
I bought a 2004 Pilot a month ago here. My salesman, Tim, knew exactly which loan to submit me for because I had no job and bad credit but a big down payment.... He had me financed with no problem in minutes. A few days before I went to Carmax Burbank for a different car but with the same down payment and the saleswoman there did not do the same thing. The car was purchased in 2 hours and I was driving home. I bought the warranty tey offer which is a great bumper to bumper extended through their company. They have a 5 day return policy. I opted to return my car on day 4 to pay for the warranty in cash so as not to finance it at the very high interest rate I bought the car at. The return was also easy and everything was done in less than an hour. A month later now, I have found a few things wrong with this 2004 that seemed to have slipped past their extensive reconditioning program. I took it in with odd complaints a dealer would normally say they couldn't duplicate. They addressed them all and even gave me a loaner SUV for my babies to fit in while I waited the few days for the parts to arrive. GREAT STORE! Great customer service! And there's a play room for the kids! *Avoid the coffee!! It is terrible!!!
