"Experience Clear and Simple Car Buying and Selling"
So i went in already knowing what i wanted. Had my appointment already made and he was there waiting for me no issues. It was kind of strange to me how... he didn’t know where the vehicles were so we had to go look for it. We walked for a bit then got into another vehicle to search for the vehicle. I think the lot and vehicle locations should be better situated. The buying process was easy and smooth. When the car was purchased i was waiting for a final cleaning and check of the car. This took forever. When i finally got the car. The inside of the windows were still dirty you can see the finger prints and the rear emblem had some chemical in it that oxidized the emblem. It took them a long time to seem like nothing had been done properly. I did appreciate the person helloing me to keep checking on me and letting me know the status instead of leaving me. The clean process and check process of the car needs to be better managed. It shouldn’t take that long for a half xxx job.
We were ready to buy a black Versa hatchback from Josh. When we took the car for a test drive on a Saturday, we realized that the air conditioning didn't... work, the brakes needed to be replaced, the bumper was loose from the frame and the car interior was dirty. Josh said he would get back to us on Monday. We contacted him at 4 PM and he said the car had not been looked at by the mechanic yet. He got back to us on Tuesday and he said they needed to order parts and we have never heard from him again and it has been 2 weeks. We found a newer car, with 27,000 less miles on it and $2000 less than the vehicle at Carmax.
Terrible customer service, you have to find the personnel instead of them offering help. I wanted to test drive a car and it was obvious that they discriminated... us based on our age appearance, they took over 40 minutes "verifying" ID, when asked what was going on they said they were still verifying. The salesman Ray told us to wait by the car and didn't even have the decency to let us know what was going on, we stood there in the rain. We are cash buyers but will not be giving them any future business and much less recommend to anyone else.
Our salesmen, Miguel and Oscar were very helpful as we went thru this car-buying process, Miguel even helped me set up my bluetooth before I left for home... .......... I would recommend Car Max- this is our 2nd vehicle purchase at this location.
