  • Great buying experience

    Shopping with my 20-something daughter for her first "grown up" car purchase. Saw several models online, when we got to the dealership it was easy to ...locate them on the lot. Salespeople were polite and did not hover. We worked with Tony Lamonte, who was genuinely friendly and patient with all of our questions. No 'snob' factor from sales or finance staff. We left the car for a couple of days after purchase for some touch-ups and detailing; they did a beautiful job, it looks (and smells) brand new. Would definitely recommend this dealership.

  • Prepurchase Inspection Gone Wrong
    January 10, 2018

    Went for a pre-purchase inspection of a used 02 M3 I had bought from a private seller. I figured BMW would be best at giving a quality inspection of a... BMW, but I was wrong. Inspection came up pretty clean, 2 days after purchase the check engine light came on. The catalytic converter was bad and BMW quoted me $2500. I asked if they would help with the cost since they did the inspection and they said not unless the car was newer. Rep said he would ask his manager for me but I never heard back. Poor service in my opinion. Great facilities but will not go back.

    Anyone wanting to purchase a new or used BMW in Austin DO NOT GO TO BMW OF AUSTIN. I write this with all sincerity. The buying experience is absolutel...y awful. They lied to me about the special offers BMW USA was offering. Hence, why I went out to San Antonio to purchase my BMW. They are a horrible dealership. They lost outon 3 sales. For me, my sister and my DAD. Again go out of Austin to buy a BMW. " DONT GO TO BMW OF AUSTIN".
