My experiences at Dalessio Chevrolet have been the most pleasant experiences at a car dealership that I have had in my life. My first experience at Dalessio... was the result of another dealer trying to "stick it to me" on a false repair that was not necessary. I chose not to make the repair and went to Dalessio for a "second opinion". Instead of a $1,000.00 repair, I had a $50.00 repair and didn't have any further problems. Since that time I have purchased two vehicle from Dalessio and have gotten the best deals possible. Most recently I had a problem with my alternator going out on my Silverado pick up which is 10 years old and has over 180,000 miles on it. This happened on a Sunday. I called Dalessio and left a message. Dave Dalessio called me back with-in a few minutes and then called his Service Manager, Sean Flanagan. Sean advised me what to do since the batteries were completely dead and the alternator was not working, have the car towed in since I had AAA to avoid any further damage. On Monday Mike Lange and the service Dept. tried to recharge the batteries, use two black boxes, etc. but the fact that I drove the truck for two days with the "battery not charging" for over two hours killed the batteries. They were not able to complete the repairs on Monday due to the fact that they spent so much time trying to save the batteries. Mike Lange gave me a free loaner car that had only 458 miles on it. The repairs were completed before noon on Monday. I was very pleasantly surprised to see that they had only charged me 2 hours labor (estimated labor for an alternator replacement) and did not charge me for the multiple hours they spent trying to save me a few bucks. The bottom line is that Dave Dalessio runs a "family" type business and treats his customers like family. All of the employees, sales, parts, service, reception, accounting etc., follow Dave's lead and treat customers as if they are family. I turned 60 years old last month, have been around the block a few times, and again cannot say I've ever had a better relationship with any other dealership and would give my highest recommendations to family and friends to give there business to Dalessio. My Sincerest Thanks to Dave Dalessio and his staff for the honesty, integrity, and respect they have shown over the years!
This should have been my first and only stop to buy a car. The entire staff and in particular, Chris Perman, Steve Bello and Laurie Van Lenten are the... nicest people in the business. They treated me like family, and were very professional, courteous and helpful throughout the way. Chris was very accommodating, patient and friendly which was a refreshing experience based on almost all my prior used car-(window)shopping (mis?)adventures in New York. If you are interested in good quality used or new cars from a dealership, I strongly recommend you to Dalessio Chevrolet Buick, especially if you are in New York. The ~1 hr 20 minute drive from NY to Boonton, NJ is totally worth it. They have a professional bodyshop right in their complex so interfacing between sales and servicing/bodyshop staff is very good, and everyone is very knowledgeable about technical matters not just sales. It was an absolute delight to interact with them, as Chris and his colleagues helped me get the car I wanted and worked out all the logistics and finances in a way that I was able to afford it. Strongly recommended!
I'm sure like anyone we encounter some dealerships who get it right and some who miss the mark. I have always had a positive experience there. Sales and... service team is friendly and professional. I have no doubts taking my new corvette and other cars there for service.

I scheduled my car for a 12:30pm Service appointment, was told it would take 45 minutes, so i went to a restaurant next door. 45 minutes later I returned... and my car was still sitting in the service lane, unmoved with the keys in it. My car is a 2014 Camaro and the fact that it wasn't stolen is just luck. Anyway Im then told that all the service techs went to lunch... even though I made my appointment a week prior. It then took 45 more minutes to for them to bring my car in and finish. $47 is what i was charged for something that is A: not that expensive (and I'm fine with paying OUT OF CONVENIENCE) B: Takes only 30 minutes to do. Suffice to say this was the second time i brought my car here to be serviced and since the first time took an hour and 15 minutes this time took over an hour and a half, it will be my last time returning to Delessio Chevrolet.
I love Dalessio Chevrolet. Excellent service experience as usual. The service techs are hands down the best around. My car runs so smoothly now. Thanks... for always taking great care of my Cruz!
We had a very impressive customer experience. Chris Wolf, the General Manager was very professional and accommodating. Glen Evans was efficient and helpful.... It was on of or best buying experiences. I am going to recommend this dealership to family and friends.
