    My husband and I decided to purchase a new car, we needed something bigger. I looked up several dealers online because he was looking for a specific c...olor. Low and behold they had the exact car he had in mind a Capitol Chevy in Columbia SC. I stopped by there and got a card from a helpful salesman named Victor and told him I would return with my husband. The next day we returned as promised. The car had a 20% markdown which was very pleasing to us ( the markdown was on the vehicle, as well as the website). We were going through with the credit app and that's when we realized that the finance person was actually charging the regular price, not the discounted price. We brought it to his attention, and the salesperson brought it to his attention. He told us that it was a mistake, the car should not still have the markdown. We told him its on the website, I pulled out my phone and showed it to him an the red sticker was on the vehicle. He said he couldn't and wouldn't give it to us for that price. He called someone on the phone, I assume it was his boss. It seems as if he was advised to use coupons to get the car where we needed and where the website and red sticker claimed it to be. He refused, told us he wasn't going to do it, told us he was not going to use all his coupons because he needed the rest of them for the remainder of the month. My husband was livid and I was in disbelief. If your website is advertising this price and the car sticker is advertising this price, how can you flat out tell us you won't give it to us for this price. I woke up this morning, checked the web and its still advertised for that price. WOW!! I would never give this people my business. My husband and I travelled over 35 miles to go get this car and to be treated like this was ridiculous. The finance guy was rude after the mistake was found, and told us he wasn't giving us the car for that price. I told him he was actually willing to lose a sale. He didn't respond, but I assume his answer was yes, since we left without a vehicle. I've worked in sales before and you have to honor what is advertised but I guess Capitol Chevy doesn't adhere to having great customer service and accepting responsibility for their mistakes. Which really isn't a mistake if its advertised!! Needless to say, we left there without a vehicle and have been unable to find this car in this color at surrounding dealerships. Very disappointed customer
